question reguarding skill use
So, Spirit Siphon is bugged, but do heroes used it correctly? I'm looking to throw it in a defensive spirit build, but it's very unappealing if heroes butcher its' use.
Sorry if this is in the wrong place.

Heroes use it great. I throw all the 25 energy spirits on em I want, but it seems they don't use it if they'll gain more energy over max.
i.e. they have 30 energy, 40 max, Siphon gives 11, they won't use it

They don't use it that well; if you watch his skill usage you will see it will sometimes use Spirit Siphon even when it gets nothing back. It also won't move nearer to a spirit that would give it energy.
Luckily, the first time (when the nearest spirit is guaranteed to have energy, because it hasn't been siphoned yet) it will always work well. Or, you could just force creation of new spirits with signet of spirits if he is running low on energy.

Yeah I wish it affected target spirit instead of nearest. Hmm.

I prefer nearest then I can just hit F-Spirit Siphon, maybe I don't notice it so much on heroes because I bring more than 2 spirits.

I suppose my question would better answered with my build known. I plan on running a hero with:
-Ritual Lord / Assassins promise
-union
-shelter
-displacement (whichever that spirit is that prevents 15 damage)
-spirit siphon
-armor of unfeeling
-boon of creation
-optional
I'd probably run Ritual Lord, foe the sake that AP forces me to spread attributes too thin.

I see no problem with siphon in that, he uses siphon after spirit cast, spirit dies instantly due to...themselves, and you have the even more energy from boon.
And I dislike AP on heroes, usually foes die too fast for them to get a good cast in, since they only use at critical HP

They always use it on the nearest spirit, no matter how much energy it has.
