Petway?
Okay, now that pets are buffed, what about making a pet heavy build?
I'm thinking at the very least, they need to be able to replace the minion wall. Here's a theorycraft I came up with. Criticism welcome.

I like that, ima bookmark this page. Although pets are still fragile I believe.
Kill a pet and the build is shutted down.

I used to use 3 BM heroes way back when Asuran Scan worked on all allies but stopped after it was changed. You could probably make some decent build out of it with the recent buff now. The only bad thing is the fact that pet AI is so damn stupid.

They're actually pretty sturdy. The buff also gave them a 33%dmg reduction. That's like about 24+ armor. If the pets do take tons of constant damage though, the heroes are gonna keep spamming Comfort Animal and eventually kill their own energy. If it's not disabled on the monk, it's gonna have some crazy energy probs.

I've been playing with primary Ranger and 3 heroes with pets. They spam comfort animal too much, I found it better to bring Charm Animal on the heroes, and Revive Animal on myself to handle pet ressing.
And just thinking out loud, why "replace minion wall." Do both

You could just of disabled Comfort lol.
But, anyway, the build does look good. I'll try it out a bit later.

Although I dont like the builds here, I might try putting some hearty pets on my heroes to make a replacement for minion wall for those no-minion areas.
If you want the pets to deal damage, you really need to have a dedicated or semi-dedicated BM build with at least 9 in BM and some pet attacks.

Yes, but the thing is that it just isnt going to work well. Minions are better IMHO, the community hasn't adapted yet and it's still not better. The build can be killed with a dead pet, the pets really dont dish out as much damage, and yes, it's still bugged. Not to mention the energy problems you suggested, but micro'ing a hero in a tough situation is just not what I need to focus on.

Do heroes use disrupting lunge correctly?
Anyways, pets currently aren't too viable because of the lack of 7 heroes. Can you truly replace a hexer that gives enemies a variety of huge disadvantages who also reverses conditions back to them, as well as a minion bomber who makes explosive meatshields? They're just soooo useful. And if a henchie heals better than an n/rt, I don't know what to say.
Pets are good, but fail to replace the roles.

Looks good, but I'd probably change the player bar to something like:
N/A
Assassin's Promise
Mark of Pain
Barbs
Great Dwarf Weapon
Technobabble
EVAS
Enfeebling Blood
Rip/Weaken Armor/SOLS/Rigor Mortis
You'll lose the fourth pet, but I think the group will be much more effective leveraging the on-demand MoP, and keeping up GDW on the three remaining pets will be tasty.
