I tested it for a while, don't think heroes can utilize this skill. dropped it.

My experience with FF + PS on heroes has been nothing but positive.
They FF any condition and PS everything they have one. Also in the cases of mass conditions they seem to like FF more then PS.

I've tried it, didn't work. Don't exactly know why, but I can guess they were doing typical hero stuff, ie not recasting SoS until the spirits die, munching other spirits instead of their own and targeting single spirits without considering large bunches. I'd much rather use SoS as an offensive/defensive tool anyway, not eating them for party heals or using them at lowest rank.

Just replace your FoS with PwK for heroes.
From your build, you dont need such high spawning power unless you really want to keep rupture soul in your bar as the only spawning power skill with no spirits except SoS. If you want such high spawning power, you might as well replace spirit siphon with BoC, but watch out for places with enchantment stripping.
Decide what you want to be, if you want to be a healer you can max restoration, maintain a high level of spawning power, and bring down channeling using BoC for your energy needs. Alternatively, max restoration, maintain a high level of channeling, and bring down spawning power and use Spirit Siphon instead of BoC of course.
If you are going with Splinter and Ancestor's Rage you might as well max channeling instead for a level 14 channeling.

Thank you, i guess my question for PWK is that I lose the benefit of all the mods on my weapon while holding an item for 10 extra armor, worth it?

I thought about it, I don't think they can send bleeding and poison etc to non-flesh foes. Can they?

It is worth it, besides you always spirit siphon back any energy that you need. Plus PwK gives a nice party heal when dropped.
Even if you dont take PwK, you can always consider Spirit Light, Life, or Spirit Transfer, if you want to be a healer.
