It was hard, but i succeeded in beating mallyx using dual accounts (2 of me and 6 heroes). i gathered inspiration from previous threads and pvx, but the builds are generally geared for w/p or p/w SY spammers and 2 players (and kind of outdated, from the ursan days). I have an ele and a monk, so here is what worked for me.

i tried using up to three defensive anthem paragons to perma chain it, but its 3 elites for something that can be had with a spirit or a ward.

i wanted to try earthbind to perma KD mallyx, but that would require either a coordinated GDW or warrior KD spammer. neither of which i could do.

note my heroes all had major vigor and good insignias (+armor) and good equipment (+10vs demons etc). no cons were used.

Microing isn't that bad, hell I've done all four rangers
(aka four accounts) in one Z-Elite Trapping run.

But still Major props for doing this with Mallyx.

funny. I have dual accounts with a monk and ele as well. Yesterday someone asked me in-game if my name on Guru was dbulger... Now I know why!

btw, you don't have to micro because you can just plant all the heroes in the same spot and they get to work. the only thing to micro sometimes is, call the same target on both accounts and micro consume soul. other than that, the heroes are pretty strong.

i fought all the waves head on, because i couldn't figure out how to move the priest zhellix down to the door. next time i will have to make sure to figure it out, because it there's a couple waves that are pretty crazy.

Things people would do to play solo... but ANet still doesn't get it. While I appreciate the achievement I find it sad that ANet built a game that makes people play dual accounts and doing micro management of 6 heroes. This game has degenerated into a hideous monster. Or at least I find it so.

not many people hang around to do mallyx. his rewards aren't even worth it, unless you want the HoM statue. it'd be cool to do 8man again, but you might have to sit around for an hour to pug it, and there's no guarantee others will have that patience.
