Thx again for the uber-tastic Necros. Unfortunately I'm come to huge problems vanquishing in GWEN. I did all the far shiverpeaks with not much trouble. The char homelands and asura however.....First group in Charlands (with rit/prophet/2 axes/ hexers and the ele)....man they rolled us in like 10 seconds.

so am I doing something wrong? I'm a warrior and basically trying to use the corner trick to jam and hold as tank. Running Earthshaker.

I never needed to use the corner trick, but physical classes tend to have problems with that team. Try the discord necros.

I'm vanquishing in grothmar wardowns. I'm refering to the char group with the healer (prophet), 1 or 2 hexers, 2 firecallers, a rit, and mesmer (dominator).

Did you kill them in the proper order?

Dominator and Avenger (Rit) should be targeted first since they have perm res. Then flameshielders for their Aegis and AoE spells, then Prophet/mender, then the rest. If you get the order wrong, you have screwed your heroes no matter what heroway you run. If there are melee charrs around, they also have res sig.

Also if you are a warrior, get out/around of Meteor shower and AoE attacks if you can, rather than strain your team's healing. When I get home I will show you a screenshot with my warrior, using this build.

Don't know what I changed tactics wise but suddenly I just got them....Pain Inverter on the mesmer that casts deep freeze = POOF!

After that they just died really quickly

If you accidentally get the order right, of course it would work better. You have to know which Charr has the res and in that case, if you kill the wrong charr then you see it gets resurrected and your efforts wasted while taking damage.

Their gloat skill takes 2 seconds to cast, which is the perfect time to chain your attacks on them.

Their flameshielders are devastating to H/H because they like to clump together for AoE spells. They are also annoying to physicals as they carry aegis.

I love how you post your little screen shots!! I could take a bunch of loser heroes with garbage builds into hard mode and kill a group and post a screen shot of that...could I then claim their builds are good? Anyway, my point is that posting a retarded screen of you standing over some dead bodies doesn't prove very much and is really rather pointless unless you get some kinda ego boost from it.

Not saying your builds are bad...saying you constantly posting screen shots of you over a few corpses is really stupid.

I like running the discord team, with my necro. I prefer running the Assassin's Promise variant on my Necro, something like AP, You Move like a Dwarf, Ebon Assassin, Finish Him, Enfeebling Blood, Weaken Armor, Suffering, Res. Soul Reaping and Curses at 12 plus runes. As I have completed the HM titles on my main, I have not used this team much in HM. I have tested in the Eastern Frontier, aggroed two groups of Grawl (three healers) and had no problems at all. That was one of the more challenging areas for my Main's Sabway Team.

If you (or him) are saying that the build doesn't work then I can show you how it is done in game. Otherwise, how else can I help besides posting screenshots.

The guy said it didn't work for him, but I suspect that he was doing it wrongly. The screenshot was just proof that it can work with the build and the right strategy.

Besides Tyla likes my "proof-of-concept" screenshots and asked for more, so blame it on him if you dont like them.

Sabway. BHA + epidemic + minions = easy 4man areas clean. Dunno about larger areas, though, as I got bored with vanquishing after 2 tyrian areas alone and 1 with guild, when someone with 2 heroes went afk for an hour and we were 5/8 against a HUGE mob.

Besides, those 2 heroes were healers.

It proved it can be done with a warrior and the build. Which contradicted the post that implied that it cant.

And SY on warrior is hardly godmode compared to an Imbagon, since warriors have a greater dependence on adrenaline so they cant spam SY as often.

You only spam SY on an Imbagon because it's your energy management. It's more managable on an Imbagon, but you don't necesarily need to spam SY on recharge as a Warrior, moreso use it every now and then.
