Question about Find Their Weakness
Does someone know the condition that has to be met before a hero with that skill will use it? I have a necro hero equipped with the skill and I did some testing on the dummies in Kamadan training center by disabling every skill on his bar except FTW. He never used it on me. I tried switching weapons from a bow to: 1) spear, 2) sword, 3) hammer and 4) axe while attacking the test dummies.
Thanx in advance!

I think they only use it on themselves if they are wielding a martial weapon(ie what you said you had equipped + bow + scythe + daggers).

I did a little more testing and it seems that they will only use the skill on melee weapons and spears (no bows). If multiple characters fit that profile in the party they seem to select the person with the highest attribute out of all the weapon classes. Given the same attribute level, they also seem to favor sword, axe and hammer over spear and dagger; they will pick spear over dagger after that. And I believe this is in effect of only party members within spirit range of the FTW user. They also need at least minimum of 1 in the attribute level for the weapon being used.
I really wish they would have included bow-users into that skill.

Didn't do some apposite tests, but put FTW on a hero when going out to cap elite yesterday, and sometimes happened to see applying Deep Wound even if my bar(and the other heroes) doesn't have any way to do it. So FTW is applied on physical/martial, but frequency/priority seems quite random. Should test a little bit more to check if heroes will apply FTW to minions too.

I have the same experience. On my ranger I always had to micro it because he doesn't use it on me by himself. While he does use it on melee henchmen all the time (was the time before 7-heroes).
Heroes also use it on spear throwers all the time, is what I experienced when I took multiple para with me.

Maybe a little off topic but anyways...
Personally I found the best way to make a Paragon Hero apply a deep wound was to give him Weaken Armor + Chest Thumper he will use the combo on himself 100% of the time.
Necros with weaken armor will often not cast it or cast it when it's not needed (because they prioritize other spells) - also since the duration isn't terribly important you can just use whatever points you may have left in Curses on the paragon.
A lot of times making the best builds is not only about using the best skills and best synergies but rather more how the heroes will actually use those skills.
(being a Rit secondary you could use Sundering Weapon but I think that means you can't use Splinter Weapon as well)

I would prefer them to adjust the hero ai's use of that skill to include bows. Seems very wrong that it is used on every other weapon (with exception to staves and rods).

Yeah but unless you're doing high-end content you really don't want to micro stuff.
