Has anyone tried an Illusion Shared Burden setup on an Ele/Mes? Seems to really help relieve pressure on the group.

1st run with this scored a 2024

Alright I've completed Glints Challenge over 200 times up to date so I kind of consider myself an expert on this mission. I used to do it with 1 AFK account, so there were only 7 active people. I also did about 150 runs with 3 Heroes + 3 Henchmen and the remaining 50+ with 6 Heroes.

I'm just gonna highlight some of the important stuff to take note of in all the levels. Take note that I used to do it with 3 Heroes + 3 Henchmen (not 4 henchmen btw), so you would probably find it a lot easier with 7 heroes.

Wave 1
- Destroyers spawn very quickly and mostly consist of ranged + AoE mobs
- If you do not clear them fast enough, they might accumulate and just zerg your entire team
- It's also possible that Mesmer Destroyers might just AOE your entire team to death with Chaos Storms if everyone stands still in the same position
- Destroyers are lower level, so they can be killed easily with AoE spells, especially if you use Fire AOE + Winter

Wave 2
- Strong melee destroyers accompanied by very strong ranged destroyers.
- If you do not clear the ranged destroyers fast enough, they might pile up and focus down targets very quickly.
- Ranged destroyers have that evasion thing (forgot what it was) + Inner fire, making them hard to kill unless you focus them down
- At times they seem to glitch and are able to attack you from a very long range, this can be very dangerous if they pile up
- To trick the ranged destroyers AI, you can flag someone to hide behind the wall of the right tunnel. The destroyers will keep attacking the target but it's arrows will be blocked by the wall.

Wave 3
- The only significant thing about this level is that Destroyers flank from the back, and if you are very, very careless, Glint's baby might die.
- Other than that, mobs are very weak and I could AFK this level with 3 heroes + 3 henchmen.

Wave 4
- Very powerful Destroyer Dervishes who can hit very hard AOE at melee range. If you are too grouped up, the Destroyer dervishes might end up AOEing your entire team for very heavy damage.
- To counter that, try splitting your team up, or flag your MMs in a position where they will engage the minions. Alternatively, skills that block melee damage such as 'Ward against Melee' or 'Aegis' work very well against these Dervish Destroyers.
- Or you can just focus and kill them very quickly so they won't be a problem.

Wave 5 - The hardest wave
- Destroyer of Lives (Fire Destroyer) can be extremely devastating due to their powerful AOE spells. These Destroyers must be focused down ASAP. If 2 of them spawn you might find yourself in a situation where they quickly nuke your entire team's HP very fast.
- Necro Destroyers are also very dangerous due to 2 reasons. Firstly, on top of Inner Fire which heals them for a hefty portion, they have several spells which heal them for a lot of health, making them rather hard to take down unless they are focused.
- Secondly, I believe they do have a few hard hitting AoE spells. Normally these won't hurt, but if you didn't manage to focus down and a Destroyer of Lives pops up, the combined AoE is going to hurt a lot.

Wave 6
- Easier than Wave 3. I think it's harder to lose this wave than to win it.

Useful skills to bring:
- (Wave 1) Heavy AOE to clear the first wave
- (Waves 2, 3 & 4) Minions to soak up damage from melee mobs
- (Waves 2, 3, 4, 5 & 6) Spirits are always useful to kill things quickly
- (Wave 5 especially) Discord helps a lot to focus down high priority targets, such as Necro & Fire Destroyers on Wave 5
- (Waves 2 & 4) Melee ward spells
- (Wave 5 especially) Heavy party healing to counter the AOE on Wave 5

Generally Spirits are more useful than Discord, as Glints generally has a lot of weak mobs. Discord takes a longer time to set up whereas Spirits can keep shooting from far.

Now that I look at it, there are several things I would like to change, but it could give you a general idea of what works. Regardless, I'm able to AFK from Waves 2 - 6 with this build, although at times I face some trouble on Wave 5 and I have to alt-tab in to take command and start calling some targets.

Now that we all can afk Glints Challange in Normal Mode is it possible to afk this in Hard mode ?

Is this harder after recent update? I find heroes are having trouble on wave 3
