It's good enough to clear the area. Not ideal, and certainly very improvable, but good enough. It's a good idea not to blame the build at every opportunity, because that is how a player gets better.

These are some interesting builds but are you guys microing your heroes or just facerolling through MT? I have a mesmer so it's really hard for me to ball up the mobs

I have 6-7 heros i use for every single vanquish in the game ranging from Desolation-> Luxon/Kurzick areas -> all of proph...you just have to find what fits you my builds are nothing special just enhanced versions of Wiki builds. Also @Gamerpro21 are all of your heros fully runed up with better weapons? it can make an incredible difference if they are or aren't

I'm with deals on this. I have a "core" hero group that I take virtually everywhere. 3 mesmers, 2 rits and a necro minion bomber. I run earth AoE. The last spot generally goes to either a smite/hybrid monk or a curses necro. Unless I'm wandering through somewhere with really unbalanced mobs -e.g. somewhere that's full of undead that negates the MM, then this setup will do for me.
It carries no speedboosts and will never be optimal for a particular area, but it will work fine 95% of the time without any micro-management

Yea, I've been runing up my heroes and each of them have 40/40 weapon sets. And yes I've been trying to find that sweet team which will work to vanquish anything, but I haven't found that yet.

The illusion behind posts like these ...
I have a build that works in 99% of the areas in the game, carries 3 copies of Fall Back, and still doesn't require micro. Serious. It's only not ideal because it makes use of a UA Monk without direct damage skills. You guys seem to think that these offensive builds need micro when they don't involve anything aside from playing your own bar and hitting "Fall Back!". For MT, at worst it involves minimal micro of flagging your heroes while you Longbow pull Sunreach. If you call that micro, you've not been to UW HM before.

Not quite sure what your point is. I enjoy being able to slot in my hero setup and wander into pretty much any area and vanquish it at my own pace. I don't need to spend any time tweaking setups and have no interest in setting speed clear records.
That's my playstyle and it suits me. Yours may well be different and if so, good luck to you.

The point is you can do whatever you want however you want to, but don't get the impression that it takes a lot of micro to play the more meta builds. In the same way the more meta builds work in just about any area, and you do not need to "spend any time tweaking setups".

Well, I feel like never really got the hang of MT but I did make it to Kurzick 12 and got my GWAMM so I'll live with the disappointment.
I ended up running this, which was a minute or so better than the sin, coming in around 30 mins for ~295 kills.
Watch out for the Wardens of Seasons with their Consume Soul spam, and think about where you put the Ebon Standard.
Thanks for the help in this thread.
