7H Balancedway
Hey guys, it's Elynn here with my first own thread! I need your guidance, fellow gamers, to create the ultimately balanced 7H Team Build for any HM purposes. The following Team Build is basically a compilation of the most used Hero Builds out there. I play a caster class myself, more precisely an elementalist, so let's keep that in mind. Now that I think of it, this thread is pretty much useless for melee class players.
Here is a picture of the team as a whole:
Balancedway.jpg
Attributes
Player - Deadly Arts: 12, Fire Magic: 12+1+3, Energy Storage: 3(+1)
UA Smiters - Smiting Prayers: 12+1+1, Divine Favor: 9+1, Command: 9
AotL Bomber - Death Magic: 12+1+3, Blood Magic: 3+1, Soul Reaping: 9+1, Protection Prayers: 9
Esurge - Domination Magic: 12+1+3, Inspiration Magic: 8+1, Fast Casting: 9+1, Blood Magic: 5
Panic - Domination Magic: 12+1+3, Inspiration Magic: 8+1, Fast Casting: 9+1, Restoration Magic: 5
SoS - Channeling Magic: 12+1+3, Restoration Magic: 12+1, Spawning Power: 3+1
SoGM - Communing: 12+1+3, Channeling Magic: 12+1, Spawning Power: 3+1
If things get really difficult, I go ER Prot (I can maintain Protective Bond on everyone) and swap AotL Bomber's secondary skills for something offensive. Also, if not needed, I can drop one UA for RoJ. Other than that, this is how I roll!
Feel free to comment! Is there enough nuke, AoE, rupts, disenchants, hex and condition removals, defense, heals etc...?
Every bit of information helps! Thanks already!

Overload is known by players as a skill heroes don't use well.
Gaze of Fury isn't needed and I would assume a hero might use it on its own spirits. If not I still don't think it's needed.
Why so UA smite?

What should replace Overload? GoF is not casted on friendly spirits by the hero, and ridiculously often the enemy carry spirits, but GoF is the most replaceable skill on the bar. Place for Frozen Soil etc.

Many areas don't have spirits.
You shouldn't need Frozen Soil in areas with resurrection and that includes Slavers.
Dissonance and Signet of Creation without Channeling skills is what I normally use.
Power Spike, Leech Signet, Shatter Hex, and Spiritual Pain are skills I often use on Esurge heroes.
The smite bars don't look like they do much damage. I don't run smite unless I'm on a physical profession.

Personally speaking, I've settled on 1xSmite, 1xMM bomber, 1xN/Rt healer, 2xMes, 2xRt. I play ele as well and have found earth to be the most effective for my playstyle. I go Attune, Elemental Lord, Obsidian Flame, Stone Daggers, Unsteady Ground, Eruption, EVAS, Ether Nightmare.

Because it suits my playstyle.
I like to be able to mix single target damage with AoE and the recharge times gel quite nicely. I also like the synergy between OF and SD. My current rank gives EN@-8 for 10 secs = 160 degen (if lasting for full duration) per target affected in the area. Your mileage may vary

You spend 3 seconds for a degen spell.

Cuilan is completely correct that your build is suboptimal. Cast times are too long, damage is too low, and a mix of single/aoe is not really suited for HM play. You're not going to kill balanced HM enemy groups efficiently with degen, which is why the AP spiker template is so good on multiple professions.
I tend to stick with air for my supplemental skills to further the emphasis on spiking down priority targets, although i can definitely see the merits of AP earth.

For balanced play, anything with an MM and SoS will work fine in 90%+ of all areas in HM. If you are looking for the quickest times, then that's when you would need to go down to the nitty-gritty by considering the other hero setups, as well as factoring in the area you are playing in.

Just let him use the skill he wants, one skill doesn't make a complete playstyle "bad". It's not like it's essential.
