The guy didnt have Factions, he had Prophecies and Nightfall
People were saying how cylclone alone or tripple chop alone were too slow. So I simply made a suggestion of using Cyclone Axe and Decapitate for large amounts of spike damage

Oh ok i get it. The problem is vwk is the main healing of the build. I tried many builds for this run and vwk was definately the best option. The melee uses a blocking stance so a sword or axe build that kills the slaves one by one didnt work out too well. But as i think about it, I remember doing that run when in the range of [skill]quicksand[/skill] i think, so i didnt have any mana to recast my enchants and i died. But now i know where to fight each groups so that i never get in the range of quicksand, so it may work pretty well but i think healing hands is a must.

The monks always used that, it wont affect you..just gives them energy when u attack.

It does work with Dolyak, Mending and Live Vicariously
VwK is more of a source of damage then healing for me as it does damage very fast.
Live Vicariously and Cyclone Axe will recharge your health to max in one shot for health
I would give Decapitate a try though, just make sure of the order you use it in as it will reduce your energy down low, so try something like
dolyak>watch yourself>decapitate>cyclone axe>bonetti
i think it might work, but its large single target damage though. What I found when the warriors went into stance, simply pick another target to start bashing on while the first guy throws away his stance.
But always pick on the guy with the lowest health

Ok - yesterday evening and today morning I had drop 4 max dmg Dead Swords, but up`s are not max. But I farm very nice gold Ancient Shield with +30HP mod and "Measure for Measure" inscriptions and Blessed Chalice with +29HP and +10 armor vs. Ligtning. I`ll try more and maybe I got at last a good sword for my warrior.

OK, so I finally got a dead sword last night after about 20 runs total. Not too bad I guess, but it wasn't max and req 11. Oh well. I do have a question though.
I don't have my monk to this area yet, and I only get to play an hour or two a day, if that, and I wanted to do the farm. I only had a necro there. So I set up the 55 monk build on the necro and it has been working. I have nothing to stop the interupts, so runs can take 25 minutes or so. I was wondering if anyone else has been doing this with a necro and if they had any builds or suggestions that would work. Here is the skill set I have been using.
Protective Spirit
Healing Breeze
SOJ
Zealot's Fire
Defile Enchantments
Mending
Balthazar's Spirit
Essence Bond
After reading through this thread, I am going to try to bring Smite Hex instead of Defile Enchantments, but any other suggestions (other than getting my monk there) would be appreciated.

I got 1 dead sword req 11 and that was my first try. Since then I haven't seen anymore . In a span of two weeks and about 3-5 runs a day, I got nothing.
Am I doing something wrong??? Quest fails, then I go and slaughter them all, they never seems to hold the sword for me......

I just tried farming with my monk and got a req 11 dead sword, and several other golds. The run is not nerfed yet. I supposed the anti-farming code kicked in for you guys? Try doing mission and quests with that character and come back to farm some other time?

I still get drops from everyone I kill and a gold here and there, so I didn't trigger the code. Only 2-5 runs a day and I farm various locations. Lots of crappy golds but they never seem to carry the sword.

This run is definatly NOT nerfed yet. I run with my 55 monk. What you need to do is look at the first group. If none are carrying dead swords, rezone and try again. If a slave is carrying one... he usually drops it. I farmed this location for about 3 hours yesterday and got 6 gold dead swords. 2 non-max damage, 2 req 11 max, 1 req 9 max, and a req 12 max. I also got various other golds including 2 gold ancient shields, r9 command, and r9 tactics, a few baneful sceptors, and some other monk offhands. This run is great becuase even if you dont get a gold in a run, you make ~2k per run. I will be crushed the day it gets nerfed.

Just as a ward of caution, for those of you using the warrior build, if there are less then 2 spell casters in a group, just rezone. Otherwise, the warriors will constantly run around to avoid the AoE damage and you won't get anywhere.

If you keep one warrior selected you can pull him back to attack range with a wand, keeping that one from getting healed (yes he will leave again after the next AoE spell but he won't get a rest to regen) and eventually take that one down. Granted it takes longer, but you will get somewhere.
