Right now I enjoy farming Craw Stonereap and Zarnas Stonewrath in Arborstone outside the Altrumm Ruins. I use a 55 Spoil Victor N/Mo. It's a quick, easy farm with potential for really good drops. Aside from the greens and elite tomes, one thing I'm really liking that drops are xp scrolls--gonna use them for a Legendary Survivor.
When I want some variety, I like Torment Gem farming with my E/A and First City farming with my 55 Mo/D. Maybe I'm not Mr. Originality, but it keeps things interesting.

How do you get past the Warden to get to Stonereap? I've tried on my 55 and I've managed to survive the wardens, but they always follow me to Craw.
But I also farm the Naga Cave with my 55 necro, oodles of Sunqua Blades but not many of them are good.

Just keep running down the hall and down the three flights of stairs. The wardens will break aggro on the last set of stairs. Something about that last set of stairs scares them off. Eventually, they'll make their way back down the hall and you can cast SV through a wall. I usually take off all my maintained enchantments except Mending because Craw will put degen hexes on you, but it's easily matched by Mending. If Craw uses Lingering Curse on you, just hit Healing Breeze and recast Mending. Back up out of aggro range and he'll kill himself before you know it.
For Zarnaths, it's easiest to take him while you are standing behind a wall, but he's not always cooperative. When he's being a pain, I will just 55 him like any other 55 target, but cast my spells immediately after he uses Gale. Because he spams Stone Daggers, he kills himself pretty darn quickly.

When I do this, I bring a couple heroes and henchies to entertain them. They can be placed outside aggro for when fighting Craw, and you can just walk past the wardens.

i've found that drops are still great in the first city, i'm getting 3-4 golds/run on my 55 necro. of course, i'm superstitious, so i still believe there's anti farm code in Hard Mode, so i never farm one place for more than a skillpoint's worth.

I've kinda noticed the same thing mate, I do believe in the anti code x) I farm about 3 runs max at a stretch...then I go farm other spots or do other things and come back
Drops have prob lessened cause of you over farming it...or many many people doing it x)

My First City drops have been nothing to write home about, but have been decent. I get good "value" drops, like Purple R9 Sephis Axes, Brute Swords, Shields and Dead Bows. The real value for me in this farm is the Sunspear point farming that goes along with your loot farming. My monk and necro aren't that far into NF yet, so this is a good substitute for the Show of Force SS/LB farm (another one that I enjoy doing).
