Not lame, useful!
Being (if he's the same person in gwonline, that is) has a build like that, and I vouch for it. My variation:
[skill]melandru's resilience[/skill][skill]awaken the blood[/skill][skill]vampiric touch[/skill][skill]vampiric bite[/skill][skill]angorodon's gaze[/skill][skill]signet of agony[/skill][skill]dodge[/skill][skill]zojun's haste[/skill]
exp 15, ws 11, blood 10

I know this is a little late but here is my version of that original poster's build...
Template code: Owok4sPIUuijBpeweTJuEAi8QfA
[skill]Shield of Judgment[/skill][skill]Protective Spirit[/skill][skill]Mystic Regeneration[/skill][skill]Blessed Signet[/skill][skill]Smite Hex[/skill][skill]Blessed Aura[/skill][skill]Balthazar's Spirit[/skill][skill]Essence Bond[/skill]
I was running into issues with having too low energy to cast anything, they seem to cast ether feast ALOT. So i took out holy strike to replace it with Blessed signet for more energy, but then signet of wrath wasn't killing fast enough. then i thought about it and replaced it with smite hex. 85 dmg every 12 seconds to everything nearby is much better then 100 to one person every 20 seconds. also this way i have been able to take on as many as 8 of them at one time.

A little late on but are we all having fun farming these i'm just setting up to start again for a set for my necro but thought i would check for a better /faster way?
My necro touch/siphon seems to work ok but is 55'ing it working better do ya think? i don't know what to try next? it's a little boring doing it on the same character all the time.

Obsidian Flesh Elementalists do quite well here as well, and more notably, can clear the area in Hard mode. (~60 mobs as opposed to 12, tomes, lockpicks, and good golds in addition to the stones.)

/slaphead
He dropped those stones to show how many stones he got in one run, not from one group.

Is this farm still worth the time? And how much you can get from the glacial stones anyway?

yes, its still worth it, did about 10 minutes and had 5 glacial stones,
for the money? no it isnt worth it, I believe they are 400g each now, it still is a nice farm if you want the gloves tho

I don't know if it's just me but do Glacial Stones drop more frequently in NM than in HM?

So, any chance of an ele build that can work for farming those? =/
|
LOL, ele's pretty much own this farm. These guys here doing it in NM have maybe 20 of them to kill each run, in hard mode, there are exactly 60.
As for loot scaling....when there's 60 and it takes you 6 minutes to kill every last one, who cares. You can (as an ele) pull them in 2 groups, one group of 24, and another group of 36. HM makes this run very profitable with all the mes tomes and such.
Heres mah vid of it in HM w/ele. There's a topic in here with the build in it. As the video says, stone striker is unnecessary. I accidentally brought it out of habit. I usually have echo in its place.

Lol, thread necromancy much?
yes, this build is a little bit outdated and the revisions people have made to it make it ten times better, and the builds for other classes people did are 10 times better, but the original build that i created was thrown together in one day and did not evolve via testing as i was speed farming rather than looking for a more efficient way, as i posted this on the preview weekend, and something told me the number of glacial stones required would go up after the weekend was over.
