Koss is required for the quest. You just take him out, set up your 55 enchantments, have Koss BiP you, then kill him.

whats the average to get a chaos axe or shadow shield, out of how many runs do u have to do to get it..

Known about this farm for a while but always doubted that shadow shields dropped until I saw the screen shot.

I would guess that I have ran this farm 30+ times and the only thing I have every gotten was a white chaos axe from the last drake, like noted before you only have four chances to get it to drop and the fact you have to take a hero may have some affect even if you do kill him off.

Was hoping to get away from hero's all together. I would still like to find a farm for the skull / shadow / skelton shield with a str mode.
