Hi, I was just wondering what places, builds (for either monk or dervish), and strategies are good for farming festival drops. Thanks in advance!

well you could take a 55Hp monk and farm just outside la and hope they drop a sparkler or so...

Assuming sparklers drop this festival, go with Raptor Nestling farming in NM. Got (and tossed) hundreds of them

Step 1:Make a Factions Character.
Step 2:Get this quest:http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Fire_in_the_Sky
Step 3:Finish the quest, put the stuff in storage.
Step 4

elete the character and repeat step 1-4.
Step 5:???
Step 6:PROFIT

You get 4 of each firework, some gold, and some lunar tokens

1000 points for r1 and 10000 points for r2
normal items give 1 point and transformer tonics give 2 points

argh.. I'm bad timing impersonated.. a week ago I spent like 700 sparklers

This is just as another alternative, i remember when the golden eggs were dropping last easter, I was farming the trolls and giants outside droks and getting a tonne of them.

So we have to have factions and be on a factions character in order to do the events outside of the big praty thingy?

They didn't say it was locked to that, for drops at least.

You need to have Factions to participate in the Canthan New Year's celebrations.
The character doesn't need to be created in Factions.
Festival items usually drop in all campaigns.

I did this last year and the price of Glittering Dust did rise during the festival.
Luckily I had a lot saved in advance but I did run out lol
