Good place to solo farm (N) Monstrous Fangs?
Looking for a good location a Nec can solo farm some Monstrous Fangs. I need a bunch and at 1.3p don't want to buy them all. (this is just for normal armor). Any suggestions for locations and builds for a 55 Nec?

I've had three or four drop while farming sunspear points from Gate of Desolation in about 10 runs with a full H/H party. Unfortunately I don't think it's soloable, since you have to be in a worm...

Till now I've always gotten at least one per run from the hidden chests in CoF
but that's only my luck

Farming Naga is best bet. I farmed almost 80 fangs in a weekend during the Dragon Festival.... too bad it was a festival quest that allowed 5 groups to spawn right outside a town. But there is Naga in Sunqua Vale that can be easily farmed.

Thanks. Can they be solo farmed? Where are they, close to a town?

Yeah, you can use a monk or ritualist to farm them. But of course I recommend 330hp Rt/Mo
They are right outside of Tsumei Village in Sunqua Vale. And there is some in the field, and down a path off to the left of exit.

I have found most of my fangs from Hidden Treasure and the occansional ruby. With a necro the only choice would be to pay for a run or create a monk and 600 / Smite with a hero.
They also drop from Naga and Shing Jae Island is a great place for fangs. I don't know if HM or NM would have any affect on drop rate for fangs.
If time is a concern buy them from here (Guru Auction). Easier then sitting in town spamming WTB Fangs.

It is also possible to 55 SS/SV them, but Rit is best if you have it

Nagas are pretty good for Monstrous Fangs, but if i were to farm them, i'd go with Behemoth Gravebanes in Nightfall. i farm them in Vehjin Mines all the time with the following build:
12+1+3 = 16 Blood
8 Prot
8 Heal
7+3 = 10 Curses
rest in SR
[skill]Protective Spirit[/skill][skill]Healing Breeze[/skill][skill]Spirit Bond[/skill][skill]Insidious Parasite[/skill][skill]Spoil Victor[/skill][skill]Essence Bond[/skill][skill]Balthazar's Spirit[/skill][skill]Mending[/skill]
Insidious Parasite and SV makes em go down fast, and if you spam spirit bond you'll have no problems with degen.

I agree with RezDoGG on that both sides of Tusami Village and are good spots to farm for Monsterous Items.

Because Monstrous Fangs cost as much as Obsi Shards now, so it's profitable to just farm and sell them.

Talon Daggers are great for monstrous when you put a highly salvageable inscription on them. Ususally get 1 or 2 if you're lucky.

List of all monsters that drop them...i've been getting a lot from the behemoth gravebanes in various Vabbi areas, such as Resplendent Makuun, etc.

I have farmed most of the monstrous crafting items soloing the second quest on Shing Jea. Takes 20 minutes to complete and usually net 5-6 monstrous crafting items.

Hmmm, I farmed Gravebanes and I don't remember getting any fangs... but been awhile since I been there. But yeah, 330hp Rt/Mo works really well for farming Gravebanes in Vehjin Mines. There is also a zone right there that you can go in and out. Plus there is a Dervish boss you can kill to top it off.
