hmm i cant see to find a place to farm runes ive tried ettins but i havent got any runes from them...i was wondering where is a good place to farm runes for 55..

Ettin drops were nerfed a while ago...

For runes, I really like Luxon Assassins

This thread shows the run and the drops, but uses an ele build...It can easily be done with something like this;

The six Jade Brotherhood warriors that are just outside The Marketplace in Factions seem to drop a lot of runes - whether they be minor, major or superior. I've done it in Hard Mode and it seems to be more productive. Your standard 55 build is all you need.

i've had great success farming runes by killing Yetis in Mount Qinkai with this build:

16 Blood
10 Prot
8 Heal
some points in SR, for good measure

Head out of Aspenwood Gate Luxon, take a hard left, and kill any Yeti + bosses you see. look out for traps while picking up drops, as well as the monk boss's Withdraw Hexes, which you cover for with suffering.

i agree with Lipgloss above that Luxon sins are great for runes - you'll get plenty of gold armors from 'em.

It's not even worth farming for runes anymore. Just farm regular gold and buy it from the merch. Most runes are less than 500-1k each...

You're right, it's quite odd. Went there on my Ranger with my all-purpose (non-UW) trapping build, after 3 runs got two gold runes and one purple.

I guess if someone could stand doing the same thing over and over, you could get some profit. But I remember when I farmed for Ettins - it was so exciting, running around the green countryside, stopping to see the sights. This is boring by comparison.

And as said, yeah, rune farming isn't very profitable anymore. Damn you Factions! (Rune market began to blow up when it came out)

not sup vigor i was vanq with guildies and i got 2 sup vig from those gold armor thingy...

Dont forget to salvage survivor, radiant, vitea runes. But yea going for one rune is a hell of a goal, The best thing to do is farm something with decent drops that CAN drop armor pieces. Maybe corsiars or kournans for NF sake (i doubt it though) .

The Skeleton Rangers outside of Nebo Terrace drop some nice runes too. Got a Rune of Attunement twice and a Sup Vigor, and alot insignia's and minor runes.

That's true, I had a lot of minor energy storage and soul reaping. Sell it to the RUNE TRADE, saves a lot off time and give enough money

Titans with the defend north kryta quest active drop them aswell, but the water born titans are annoying with maelstrom
