Oh and I always set traps for the Charr in Nolani Academy by the front gate.
shure - Whenever I saw "the following are exempt from loot scaling" I always simply thought that meant that party size has nothing to do with it. Does it also mean that it follows the pre-LS system, that solo will increase the droprate?

Yeah, anything/anywhere you can solo farm, you'll just get the best drops - UW, etc.

I find that raptor farming is the best for event items.
I get about 4-6 bunnys/eggs each run.
doing this you can easily get 60 of each in an hour plus alot of dye (black white) and with merch food about 5k.
Warrios can do this easily there was a post on it with VwK build.

been using this build for raptor farming (clears ALL the raptors, including the boss). seems to yield better drops since it kills one at a time instead of all at once. i get twice as much loot with this build than its meteor shower counterpart. air of superiority is risky, but it's only let me down a handful of times.
i have r8 in the asura track, so that probably helps...

Anyone know a good D/Mo build for this? My generic 130 can't do it. The DPS is too high and I get overwhelmed. I tried dying once first and it got me a little further but not much.

Deathbane mods seem to have affect on non-inscribable weapons in NF and EoTN... Every weapon that comes without inscription will have a deathbane mod on it. It doesn't happen everytime with deathbane, but sometimes it does... they should fix that problem.
But yeah, Raptors are a good quick source of festiv drops, as well as Spectrals. I been doin both, and spectrals seem to drop more eggs/bunnies along with more profit of other drops. I get 6-13 golden eggs in a 2 and half minute run of Spectrals, along with 2-4 golds and glacial stones... Raptors sometimes drop up to 6 in a 1 minute run, but that doesn't happen that often... only good thing about it is you can keep goin and goin and no need to stop as you can sell stuff when you go back in town. Spectrals you have to stop if you can't hold anymore stuff, go back to town and sell, then run back there... when i farm spectrals, I usually salvage everything besides gold items, then farm until my bags are full of mostly golds. But yeah, they both great for farming... I do both farms with a Sin without any problems at all, better farming than usin an ele for spectrals and just as good as E/A for raptors.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This is what I use for farming Raptors (A/E): It works better than most of the other A/E builds I have tried. You kill everything without them fleeing, and you get an extra Shadow form to have time to pick everything up afterwards. I also have rank 10 asuran for mindbender, which helps alot. I usually have some time to pick up drops, and possible kill any extras that still alive. You get energy channeling with max asuran under shrine blessings whenever you kill an enemy, so I have enough to fire off another MS line if i need to.

Id suggest replacing Flame Djinns with Inferno, does more damage so good for finishing of any escaped Raptors.
'Cept for that its the same build I use.

I use it to finish them off, all works the same... just cast them as fast as possible and they won't have time to run.
