Hi, I'm new to Guild Wars in general, and i just got a lvl 20 W/Mo to droks, and i was wondering what the best mods for troll farming are for an axe and a shield, thanks to everyone who posts here XD

and

+45health while in stance
-2dmg while in stance
shield

vamp, zealous, furious, sundering, or elemental prefix on axe (depends on your skIlls)
15^50 or 15^enchantment inscription
+30 or +7 vs physical suffix

though with trolls i foudn there really is no best
cept
max shield that fits your stats.
and a max dmg axe.

i think for a while i used
an axe with armor against the elements
and a shield with the same stats as the one that is crafted in kaineng city

People are Still farming trolls!?
And Fire/Earth/Water/Lightning would be best as they are warriors they have only 80AL vs elemental

Don't farm Trolls.

But if you must, Vampiric or Elemental 15% ^ 50, stance, or enchanted of Trollslaying and a +45, -2 stanced or enchanted shield is ideal.

edit: You may be able to get +10 vs. Trolls on the shield, as well. So a +10 vs. Trolls(or whichever physical damage type-slashing, blunt, piercing), -2 shield would probably be the best with a +health shield to swap if needed.

At that time, however, I soon got bored by those trolls. This is why I should like to recommend to the OP to consider farming Hydras and Desert Griffons in Skyward Reach. They generally have better drops and the farm itself is not as monotonous.
In NM (and I guess we are talking about NM farming here) not one of those foes is a match for a good warrior.

So hes a beginner farmer and trolls are the way to go for new farmers. And like you, when he gets bored he'll move on to better farms.
