Easy and safe to use, pwns the boss, can tank the nestlings when SF ends if needed.

I use the same W/Rt as Skinny. Signet of Stamina's an option for one of the speed boosts or Vengeful Weapon for a HP buffer to pick up drops. W/Rt's easy as pie in NM.

W/Rt - go NM because HM causes scatter (unless you pin the mob) and takes longer.

E/A or E/Me Sliver - go HM because Raptors strike faster, speeding things up.

Personally i feel the W/Rt is the easier build to run because it's no problem to agro all of the Raptors and only requires Wary Stance and VwK to be effective. E/A's more fragile but will net you tomes, greens etc and is generally more profitable.

[update] I've been doing a comparison between NM and HM for the last few hours - W/Rt VwK in NM is getting a heap more party items and bones. E/A Sliver in HM is getting a stack of gold items with good mods. Have yet to try E/A Fire bombing in NM.

argh just my opinion:
don't praise this farm too much in forums or we'll see a few normal raptors in the cave, just like anet did with Griffons, pongmei farming and more.

If the raptors didn't scatter in Hardmode, I'd have a similar build for them too. The corner doesn't even work anymore. It sucks.

I was wondering if anyone has one for HM.. I guess not.

I can kill the broodmother on my terra tank on HM but it's not 100% of the time. More like 50%.

Nice builds Kaida - not sure why you'd want to kill the broodmother in NM other than the Asuran title bonus or maybe the crappy green, but it's good to see a Warrior build that'll do it.

Nice drops Devilman - I didn't know the boss could drop ele's, all of mine have dropped from the nestlings.

Well, the W/Rt loses out on about 6-9 more raptors because he can't aggro that (Rekoff's) group.

The run time is just about the same, so it's a plus!

Not true. The W/Rt can agro all Raptor Nestlings, the broodmother's left standing while you pick up the drops. Only takes one VwK to knock them all off.

Nice build all the same...GD and SA = two birds, one stone.
