I personaly love the 600/Smite builds, but for the solo range id have to go with the VwK Tank for UW Smite farming

My favourit farming run is the old E/Me troll farm. No one uses it anymore because of loot scaling and it's not in HM. Still, if I'm going to do some repetitive grinding, I may as well make life a bit more fun by running a build that fills my screen with lots and lots of triple digit numbers.

I use a Ranger and always have [skill]Dwarven Stability[/skill][skill]Lightning Reflexes[/skill][skill]Whirling Defense[/skill]
rangers have the best stances and Dwarven Stability should be a rangers new best friend.
The rest of my build varies depending on the area, but those 3 skills are almost always there.

Also the pre-nerf E/A raptor farm (got 200+ golds there VERY fast)

Fahranur, The First City
Minister Cho's
Ice Cliff Chasms
Wajjun Bazaar
And I think there are more areas that have decent drops.

Fahranur with;
[build=Fahranur Farmer prof=Mo/D smiting=12+1+3 protection=8+3 divine=8+3 healing=0+3 earthpray=8][Protective Spirit][Shielding Hands][Shield of Absorption][Shield of Judgment][Fleeting Stability][Mystic Regeneration][Blessed Aura][Balthazar's Spirit][/build]
Not sure if it's best / fastest build out there, but i'm able to kill all bosses expect the Harpy one (who comes with healer), all skales and all undead. each run takes for me about average of 25 mins (3 bosses, about 95-100 mobs in total).
Sometimes i take away dervish skills and get more damage skills, can do the run, with the exeption of not killing ele boss, in little under 20 mins.

I loved the old nuker E/A Raptor farm build (The one without PvE skills), until I tried the E/Me Glacial Stone farmer. I just love that build, don't know why.
Recently, I'm growing to like the 600 monk/smite build, for both Kveldulfs and CoF.

55 monking,
VwK
and currently my favorite is the E/ME Glacial Farming; its awesome to have
50+ enemy's desperately trying to kill you while you pwn them with earthmagic, and their drops is awesome (golds = unids, and glacial stonesa ofcourse)! (the rezoning is also great, makes it really fast)
