wow this confuses me even more, 55 makes you invisable against everything but degen, and enchantment removable, and even then you can get around the degen part by adding regen as counter. and what do you mean proficies is a bad farming place, i have nf i haven't found more then 2 good farming places. i guess i most really need help becoming better at farming.

In UW I get anywhere between 23.5-74k an hour depending on how many ectos drop. Usually 3-9 , but on average 5 or 6. Runs take me about 40 mins but people probably do them faster because I use Sliver armor. Thats all I farm these days.
(Since its 40 mins per run I multiplied by 3 then halved to get an hour)

Yeah, although recently the ectos average is more around 2-6 ectos, looks like a lot of ppl are farming there now. I only do chaos planes though, dont bother with smites or those other 2 areas

55ing lacks good damage potential, which makes it slower than other forms of farming, and there are degen areas, enchant strippers, and a few skills that avoid PS. The ideal goal of farming is to kill whatever as fast as possible, which is something a 55 cannot do as well as some other classes.
And proph is bad for farming because you can't get all the elite tome types there nor do the weapons have inscription slots... So unless a 15>50 gold drops on you with a good skin and low req, it's not going to sell.

What? All of them lack damage potential.
SS is vulnerable to interrupts, after that a long recharge.
IW is 1 to 3 monsters.
SoJ knockdowns, so dmg is lowered.
Scythe dervs - same as IW, lower dmg in HM.

well i have a mesmer which has beaten nf and almost profcies and my monk isn't very far, just get's runs to good farming locations. so far all i see in nf is the cyclone palace on hard mode, and the insect groups in istan on hm, and i haven't even test the cyclone palace. so could some one give me a list of farming locations and what builds/professions are needed to farm or at least send me a link to a farming guide.

Well the sticky on this forum is a good start
http://www.guildwarsguru.com/forum/s...php?t=10196128
*However* you are having the same problem I had until relatively recently. Everything I could dig up related to OLD builds I now trawl through the posts on here, hoping that recent posts are in fact new posts and not resurrecting old posts which are in fact long dead and buried.
I've lost track of however many times ive bought everything for a build, only to find its long ago been nerfed.
Weretoad: From your posts I think you have Prophecies and NF, NF is the best bet. My advice
#1 Get an ele and level him up, play through NF
#2 Look up PVXWiki and then find the E/A Boss farmer build, thats easy enough to learn and get used to and having played through NF youll have a few spots you can farm for Elite Tomes and Greens
#3 Think about getting Factions and EoTN, Ele's farm a lot of things in EoTN and with Factions you can make a 330HP Rit, those are a good easy farm but again you need to get to the right places to farm, check RezzDogg's fantastic post. Not that Factions is sololy that though, lots of other spots that ive read about.
#4 Generally do more research and check these forums daily for good tips, nothing like playing through a campaign with a char to get money too ;o)
