ok for starters, i don't wanna get everyone's hopes up TOO much but heres the deal

i'd been having quite a bit of fun A/E SF farming uw, and it got me thinking of alternatives, i finally found one but its slightly tricky and requires cons

i've tested it, so at least it works, but i'm missin a few skills, and haven't got the whole 7 yards of trying it in uw

so here's the spells/attribs

esence of celerity? (the one thats for recharge ^_^)
full radiant gear
+20 energy staff with 20% ench

12 shadow mastery
10 + 4 channeling
8 + 3 spawning power

Energetic Was Lee Sa
Ghostly Haste
Destruction
Deadly Paradox
[E] Shadow Form
Spirit Rift
Ancestors rage
light of delrimor? radiation field, etc (havent filled yet)...maybe rupture soul

ok so (sry i dunno how to make that look nice n spiffy) but anyways, on to how to use it

most of you probably already see the resemble to the ele version
1. pop EWLA and cast ghostly
2. cast destruction and at the same time deadly para
3. as SOON as all 4 are up, drop EWLA and cast SF
4. wait for EWLA to be back up or start pounding (i'm not sure what works seeing how this hasnt been field tested yet : /)
5. once destruction is recharged, repeat from the start, just make sure u have enough time to setup SF again...and always remember DROP EWLA B4 SF GOES BACK UP

and that's it folks, im pretty confident it could run faster than the ele counter due to shorter recharge...more damage, and an interesting version for all those bored rits, hope it all works out ^_^

Mayb these are noob questions, but..
Do the foes in HM scatter from these skills?
Don't you think the foes are going to attack the spirits?

they will attack the spirits, thats forsure, but im testing it as we speak, and u have enough time to use it for what you need it for

(ghostly haste)
+ you want them to kill destruction

on another note, for scatter, in hm most likely, but i'm sure some A/E or A/ME guides have already discussed choke points in HM to get around that ^_^

finally, i think you might also need a grail of might for the +1 (or golden)

....how E/As do it, its the same cons for this....(i'm testing atm)

You will lose more money than you would make in the long run, especially if you end up dying alot... Using cons for farming is not always a good idea, it makes other SF farmings builds possible, but at a price. Energy management is a problem with professions and SF other than Sin or Ele... especially if Graspings use Fear Me. I was actually tryin to come up with a Rt/A SF build myself a few days ago, but it didn't turn out so good... I was also going to try Spirit Rift and Ancestor's, along with Splinter Weapon, but I wasn't going to bother with consumables for farming. Most I would use is Cupcakes for running, but at the same time only using them for title.

well actually im using it right now, with the two cons, its actually very efficient in NM

i did a run in a gd 20 min, and i have around 60+ mana, with EWLA spaming, im more than fine.....give it a shot ^_^ (you need grail of might tho :/ so i admit, pricey)

but 1 ecto = con price

If you got a rit, in the long run it would be more efficient doing smites. Otherwise, use the sin build.

Good concept though.

ya, ive done quite a few now : /, have to say, its fun as hell to play

....but not so friendly to the $$, i think i more or less broke even, nice break tho
