Ok, I searched and couldnt find an answer...

I can farm with my W/Rt (VWK) and know how to use the side of the cave to prevent scatter.

However, if I farm with my A/El permaSin, I cannot prevent scatter. I take them to the same place, I have same weapons equipped Sword/Shield or Sword/Foci.

I assume Vwk damage was AoE, but maybe it isnt?

How do I prevent scatter with Sliver on my A/El build?

I use Sliver with my ele and I usually only get one or 2 of the raptors breaking aggro. I just wand/staff them and they run back in. Most times they die fast enough that they don't have a chance to scatter. In HM they attack wicked fast and die equally as fast.

Hey, try this (use from left to right). They scatter after being kd twice by MS (use viper defense after the second kd to delay scatter) but they die from degen so it doesn't matter. The reason i use GoEP is because i have a low asuran rank (3) and they just manage to survive by about 1-10hp if i don't use it :P if you have 4/5+ asura rank, replace it with glyph of sacrifice for a faster run. You can do this run in a minute.

PS it's much faster than silver armor

Thanks, but I am running Raptors to up my Asuran Rep to be able to get/use Radiation Field.

Right before they die, the raptor will try to run out of range of the sliver enchantment. If you are dealing enough damage, this is not a problem as they will usually get killed before they can escape the range of sliver. With the shadow form nerf killing half your damage, this suddenly becomes a very annoying problem as a lot of raptors are now able to run away before dying. I since switched to an elementalist and with a full powered (16 earth sliver), ebon battle standard of honor, and intensity, I am dealing 41 damage per sliver hit (hard mode). NOTHING except the broodmother can escape that level of damage.

I recommend using a Mist Form build instead of shadow form or consider using an elementalist for raptor farming.

Jade said it all as long as your wanding the raptors that scatter they will run right back in for more sliver damage
