Can the blessed griffons outside Rankor be soled, if so what build is best, thanks in advance. and i have searched the forums before asking.

maybe a Terra tanker.
Builds that cant do it is any build relying on Shadow form as only defense.

I think he wants them for nice looking shield. Their feathers can be used in collector's shop.

I kill a few once in a while with my monk, pretty standart 55 monk, tho i dont have EotN or Nightfall, so no SoA yet but build is like:

Protective spirit
Healing Breeze
Shielding hands (you can take huge amounts of hits at the same time due to their Aoe Smiting abilitys)
Shield of judgement
Bonettis defence
Blessed Aura
Mending
Balthazars Aura

If you have Nightfall and can use Shield of absorbtion, then i guess you can take out Breeze, mending and Shielding hands and put in something else. (as said dont have NF so havnt played with SoA

Not really solo, but I wanted their wings for the collector. Just went ursan+healer hero. Couldnt be bothered to think of a "proper" damage build :P.

They also drop a nice amount of Feathers (material). 55 is the way to go. SF won't work because of Symbol of Wrath. unless you walk away from it if you're not surrounded.

you can forget about feathers, only 2 per wing is not worth it.

true but they also drop just feather and those are usually in piles of 20-some if i remember correctly

i used to 55 them back in the day using that build at the top that was posted

600/smite would be faster if you're going for feathers/griffon wings.

Actually, thinking about it i would belive the most efficent build to use would be something like (if you have all campains)

Prot spirit
Shield of absorbtion
Shield of judgement
Acentors Visage
Sympathic Visage
Blessed Aura
Essence bond
Balthazars Aura

(just came back from a 1½+ yea break, dont know how to use the code thingy to show the skills with tooltip and such)

But this build should work nicely. SoJ for damage, dual visages to drain their energy. This way they dont heal a little bit everytime they cast their Symbol of Wrath / balthazars Aura / spellbreaker.
