In case this hasn't been posted before...
Do not aggro more than one group of graspings at the start. If you do, then you will be screwed over by tag teaming. As in.. 4 run to you, 4 run away... when the 4 on you get hurt the 4 healed come back.. and they do that over and over.
Well witte, I finished the graspings in 5 minutes, (which isn't as fast as ele, but still damn good and a lot easier) and got to the second chamber towards the smites but I got the rubberband effect and died.
Second run I caught two different groups and was trying to kill those for like 20 minutes before I just resigned out.
Practice makes perfect.

I ended up fighting two groups of graspings at the start and it didn't take me much longer than usual to kill them. Did you spam both VwK and Vengeful Weapon whenever you could?

Yup, you can use Weapon at any point. Weapons spells don't need you to actually hold a weapon for them to work >.<

I have no problems with the smites it's when i face the mindblades is where i am having problems. Anyone have any suggestions on how to face them or a certain strategy they use to take them out?

my stratagy for the smites is this......
groups of three= just keep Vwk and Dolyak up, i usually takes three castings of VwK to kill them
groups of four= same as above, but when VwK ends i spam vengeful weapon till i can cast VwK again
groups of five= i keep Vwk and Dolyak up and spam vengeful weapon as much as i can, always making sure i have 5 nrg to cast VwK when it comes up. usually by the time i deplete my energy my bonnettis is ready to go and i repeat the process.
my problem is after i kill the coldfires and the smites, i just cant follow a map to save my life so getting to the chaos planes is an impossibilty for me.
*edit* Forgot i had another question, since i feel more comfertable with permanent dolyaks up i have altered the attributes a bit (restoration= 12, tactics= 6+1, strength= 11+1+3). It seems that it doesnt affect the build that much since the only skills that use tactics are healing signet (which still heals for 92 accompanied by all the other healing skills in the build) bonnettis (which is now up for 8 seconds and this is more than enough time to replenish energy) and the blow which may not deal as much extra damage, but will still add an effect to the target regardless. On the other hand dolyaks is up perminatly, and sprint lasts longer. Is this a viable change or am i just an idiot? I know it works for the smites, but i haven't made it to th chaos planes yet so i dont' know how it would work there (i keep getting lost)

Well, having 15 in strenght is really not necessary, but like you said; it works. You don't need dolyak when fighting the mindblades because most of the time you have ignorance on you (so you can't use signets). resilent weapon is there to deal with that, IF mindblades dont interrupt you....which happens almost always so i'm still !very! curious if any1 can take on groups bigger than 3 (groups of 3 is possible most of the time cause of luck that they dont interrupt you)

why the hell are people killing the coldfires? they NEVER drop ecto and are just a pain to deal with..much easeir to just avoid them.

Doesn't sound like the colds were in his way to chaos plane if u ask me..... sounds more like killing colds as part of smite run, where it doesnt belong of coz.

w8 a second from what i can gather (i haven't read all of the posts waaay too long) you ppl are saying that if u take less than 3 ppl at a time they don't sactter soo thats y when i tried to tank all of the graspings in the first room at the same time i couldn't kill them...
I was sitting there for half an hour...

well, I'm at school at the moment so I don't have access to my screenshots, but last night I did about 6 runs, and almost every time this one group of Coldfire Nights were fighting these two groups of smites. I didn't mind, since it made my life easier, but I'm at a loss to explain why it seems to always occur in that spot, and almost never anywhere else.

There often seems to be a random group of evil (good?) smites mixed in there. Coldfires *and* other smite groups will fight them.

If your target is just smites, you dont need healing signet. I even dont spend any attribute point on Tactics ^_^.
Before being nerfed, I cleared all the mindblades using 2 spirits: Blood Song and Pain since they were both in Communing (I used Communing 11). With the 2 spirits, Mindblades wont use Clumsiness on you and the Spirits will kill all the Mindblades, what you need to do is heal yourself with VwK, Vengful weapon and anything else. I chose Mend Body and Soul due to less casting time. Sometimes, I got interrupted but VW did very well and I could survive.
With the same strategy, now I can survive with 6 mindblades only. Because the Blood Song is now in Channeling, I spend 9 on Channeling and 7 on Communing, so that they die faster. Without the spirits, Mindblades will use Clumsiness on you so that you cant attack --> no andrenaline for Bonetti --> no energy for healing --> die. I tried to resummon the spirits but Mindblades realize their weakpoints and come to kill all the spirits resummoned. That's why I was killed. ^_^
Any suggestion for me?
