Yeah they kinda nerfed solo trap by nerfing spirits. Best bet is to do it with a hero dropping a EW at 16 BM. Wouldn't hurt for the hero to drop a spike trap for a cheap KD while your at it.

Energizing wind got murdered (because of PvP), so don't expect this to work now.

You will need either a hero with 16 Beast Mastery and [[Echo] to maintain EW while you trap, or else you could bring traps on the hero. There's plenty of time to flag the hero off if you just bring spirits, but you may have difficulty getting the hero out of range if they trap with you.

You may try to drag a hero with [[Echo] and [[Energizing [email protected]]. Have the hero echo EW so they can use it 3 times, and flag them with your other heroes after the 3rd EW.

edit: I tested this with a hero to Echo EW while you trap, and it works. Drop EW from your bar for another trap. I used [[Tripwire], but [[Piercing Trap] or [[Viper's Nest] should work as well.

Radiant armor, Superior Wilderness mask, Superior Expertise
You don't need a staff.

Usage:

Pretty simple. Same as above, H/H to the boss, flag H/H away, and then trap left to right. Use [[Trapper's Speed] as your timer. When it is halfway on its third duration, cast the ward, pull with the bow, and wait for the boss to run to the traps. Cast [[Weaken Armor] and [[By Ural's Hammer](at the same time) just before the boss steps on the traps. Acolyte asplodes!
