Wintersday Items Farm - Idea
Quote:
Each PvE foe has a small chance to drop a Wintersday item, in addition to their normal drops. Known drops are Candy Cane Shards, Snowman Summoners, Eggnog, Frosty Tonics, Mischievous Tonics and Fruitcakes. Drop rate is around 5% per foe, although some foes will drop two items.
Foes that don't normally drop such as animals may drop these holiday items. Unlike normal drops, drop frequency of these items does not scale at the start of an area, e.g. the first foe killed is just as likely to drop a holiday item as the 100th foe killed.

From Wiki, with this in mind, maybe a quick easy farm would be the Lions outside Sunspear Scantuary...

There are lots of places with bunches of easy monsters. The Charr at the end of Great Northern Wall, the grawl outside Fort Ranik -- both of which drop trophies you can trade in for even more crap -- the mantid-filled narrow passage between Seitung Harbor and Shing Jea Monastery...

Not every Guild Wars player has GWEN, and this COULD be a quicker, easier way to farm...

Just wondering, do the barrels in Isle of the Nameless drop items? lol
How about the respawning Margonites in Jennur's Horde?
those might make good AFK places

What about all those juvenile termites outside of champion's dawn in plain's of jahrin. They also drop their leg which you can trade for wintersday items.

Don't read too much into what Wiki says. The drop rates vary, largely around mob level. Eg, Raptors drop about 1 in 8 in HM, Grawls drop about 1 in 20 outside surmia NM.

drop rates could be like
chance of drop y/n (yes for next line )
item to drop ( rand number pool ) within item carrying
and event drops may fit in same way after the chance to drop
ive seen a few drops like dye or ectos drop on first kill -only about 4x times tho ever
