I prefer to run the entire mission with H/H. It is about half as good in terms of core/min (solo: 2cores/5mins, H/H: 4cores/20mins) but I also get an armor piece, which is +6-8 cores at current market prices and H/H is more fun for me.
Btw, I found a Mo/E solo build that can run this both NM and HM. But I found the build so difficult to run, I stopped playing it entirely after I mastered it (if you wanna suffer, the build is: Shielding Hands, Prot Spirit, Glyph of Swiftness, Obs Flesh, Spell Shield, Balthazas's Spirit, Blessed Aura, Sliver Armor; earth12, air5, divine9+4, prot8+3, HP105 with +20%enchant and +20/20% prot recharge)
(but nice builds dont feel no pain)

thx for the feedback..... that mo/e build seems like a streessful version of the normal obsideon tank build which is the best for this =)

Id there any benifit, except from the xp and possibly better golds and merchant fodder, in HM. If you are farming for destroyer cores. then it makes more sense to do it in normal mode. So is it worth doing it in HM, or is it just for the challenge or because you can?

Hm = better fodder + golds
Nm = More cores... i assume

NM = Ranger
Hm = Warrior or Ele (only one that can do lol)

Is it just me, or are the runs getting harder because the Destroyer Mesmers are using Chaos Storm?

Are you using a staff? I think the AI uses skills depending on what weapons you're holding.

Try using a non-caster weapon set and see if that helps.

And yeah, I was using a staff for a bigger energy boost after I drop VwK.

I tried it yesterday and yawn at NM so I jumped in HM.
One question though, whats your % of survival in HM. I find it that sometime I get huge spikes of damage that I die from.
Do the mobs of the change from mission to mission? More mesmers, more eles etc?
I found that it can be a breeze in one time and hard the next.
Also the drops really diminished the after two runs.

EDIT: I saw the post above and yeah I move away from chaos storm, and as for caster or martial weapon, I used both and kinda get the same results.

You need sentinel insignia's since you are running at over 13 strength, this way you have 100AL against ele damage.
Superior absorbtion and vigor, +major strength on your helm to get total of 15strength.

Just saw the bonneti and lion's comfort post, will try those and will go back to the martial weapons, although its not the chaos storms I used to die from, its the spike from their damage.

I see... hmmm HM got bad spikes.. but NM is pretty lame on spikes.. i can do it warrior and ranger with just plain old VWK, no other skills, kinda dumb farming XD, and theres no skill involved with that, I DO SUGGEST SENTINAL INSIGS
