Just a census on what ppl are gettin in terms of gold per run that they do and the time it takes them.

I apologize for being so vague, but I typed this at 3 am. The reason I am typing this, because I have a toon that I am trying to make gold so I can buy the equipment that he needs. I just ran anvil rock in HM solo w/ 55 spiteful spirit build in 8 mins and made 400 gold (vendered stuff that was I.D'd as well). I am attempting to find out if there is a more efficient way to make gold solo farming and in order to know, I would like to see how I stack up w/ other ppl.

well 55HP hydra farming in HM gives me about 2K ~ 3K per run.
1 run takes me about 20 ~ 30 min.
600/smite in FoW takes about 30 min for an run and i get like 10K per run from that.
CoF takes about 45 minutes with 600/smite and gets me about 15K from drops and 10K from people i run.

Bomb run...we all know the build/place
hour to an hour and a half, during events I ID and drop till a full stack or three of whatever is dropping. This can take several hours to complete.
absolutely mindless, I watch tv/movies while doing it to keep from going nuts
35k - 50k depending on luck with dye drops - tip: sell the gold unids 5-5.6k=7, easy money

This is just what I have held on to... I've probably gotten 3x this many

Edit: o ya and Zunlai tourny for free Zkeys once per month. If you enjoy spending real money for in game pixels then buy more accounts for that...

In past. I was making 40-70k from 600/Smite/Famine Runs in Titan Gems when were 15k ea, run was about hour-2. When PSF was OP making 5-15 Ectos in UW a Run, that about 55k+. Doing Ursan Full DoA Runs was good bit lost count. Those were old days, so I dont know anymore.

I've never heard of a bomb run, what is it/where and how do you do it?

Perma runs through 3 zones, hires budger blackpowder out of sifhalla before he leaves. Run the 3 zones, gets to the place w/all the vaettir. space+f1 watch the bombs go boom. Collect drops and repeat.

My Necro 55/SV's Hulking Stone Elementals between Ascalon City and Sardelac Sanitarium in HM. 10 minutes per run, 1-2k per run from merchant trash, not including gold items, dyes, Warrior Tomes, Elite Ele/Warr Tomes (from the 2 bosses, Flint Touchstone and Cobble Poundstone), Locked Chests, Granite Slabs, Charcoal, and the occasional Ruby or Sapphire. Enjoy.

So how profitable are DoA runs now?
How much k in average per run and how long does a run take with a decent team and how hard is it to find a decent team that takes u along.
U think its still worth it to start doing this now?

Never farmed there in any way (which i now regreted when i heard "100e a day"^^)

I dont farm anything atm, since theres no farm left which is worth the effort (i rly hope u correct my at this point

), so I only farm during events.
I used to farm A/E perma uw plains before all those nerves, which gave me like 5e in average per run which took like 25 minutes.
Also i farmed The Scareater and other greenies when they where like 20-30k, before there wa HM... there are many examples like those but that was like u guys said "the good old days"

Rt/Me UW Smite. About 750g-1.5k a run, not including ecto (0 to 2 per run) Run takes 15 min if you are fast.

Miss the old days when it was about 3-4k a run, numerous golds and always 2-4e a run. /sigh

perma sin UW chaos plaines about 1 hour with sweets 1h20 without,make 5-8 ectos , 7-9 golds (odd eternal bow) about 5k merch.
perma sin outside LA Tengu and fire imps 10-15 mins about 100 feathers 10 coal 3-5 golds 1k merch.

Scareater i think is still worth about 2k and on sin is maybe 2 min run max - say 30 runs per hr easily and even if you get 10 drop thats an easy 20k - remember he may drop elite monk tome if lucky .
I prefer to try to elite tomes on some bosses as the green may be worth a few k but its a bonus.

Its like sitting amongst old men with these posts - i remember the old days ..... they were old days and supply/demand changes prices or we`ll all be moaning at how much ectos cost back then an prices of armor lol

Well but u will hardly get 10 Scareaters out of 30 runs^^

And well 3 years is actually a pretty long time for a computer game, so guild wars is "old" which makes players seem "old" in some strange way

BTW: i like this thread... gibes me new ideas^^

I've just recently got back into the games after several months of not playing,if possible anyone willing to post more specifics on the bomb run, s to the actual Build/Weapons/Runes, and Pictures of the location or the actual run.

Use the search option - shud get several shadow bomb posts with details , as for run ... it depends on where in norn territory you want to farm .
1 word of caution tho , u have to start from siffhala and go into drakkar lake and work down from there - budger is only accessable from there and will follow into zones but not into outposts - eg drakkar to bejora marches is fine but drakkar into olafstead works goin in but not going out if you follow.
Build - any shadowform runner - i use droks runner build :P
