Thanks for the build.
I think i figured out how to kill them every time.
Heres what i run.

Use Armor of Sanctity's recharge as a timer
The second it recharges use "To the Limit!" "By Ural's Hammer!" Wary Stance
Then auto attack 1 time (So you do a little damage to make sure they die)
Then Whirlwind Attack

GG all DEAD

Wouldn't there be an issue with bombing everything at once? I thought that mob deaths have the same drop rates as individual deaths, so suddenly the ~25 monsters you kill are dropping what you might see from 1-3 monsters.

Probably a good thing to use still during weekends with special item drops, but it doesn't look like much will be earned otherwise.

I can't get this to work. The raptors usually have a bit of health left over and I get shredded. What attributes were you using?

14 strenght
4 tactics (3+1)

Sand Shards
Dolyak Signet
rage of the notouka [e]
whirlwind attack
warry stance
bonettis defence
sprint
Bye Uralls hammer

usage: sprint to cave, put up sand shards, pull all raptors->dolyaks signet,rage of the ntouka, bonettis for energy, when @ 10e-> warry stance+whirlwind attack...should kill them all. if you also have By Uralls hammer then use it just b4 Bonettis defence

15 tactics

rest in strength.

1. Run to cave
2. Thrown up enchant
3. Aggro using defensive stance
4. find spot against wall.
5. throw up dolyak... defensive stance should start blinking now
6. Thorw up gladiators defensive
7. by urals hammer -> to the limit -> whirling attack.

It is possible that the raptors hit thru your stance and interrup whirling tho.

I just wanted to wrap up some odds and ends.

First, I looked into the profitability of the build and found that 6k-7k per hour is about what you can expect to get. Each run will only yield 0-4 drops, but you can do almost 50 runs in 60 minutes. Here's what I got from one hour of farming recently.

Don't get too excited about the Elemental Sword, those are freak drops; besides, it was req. 12. Anyway, all told it added up to 6,999gp at the merchant. If you sell the unidentified golds you can probably double or triple that number (what's the going rate, 5 for 7k?) Also, as noted previously, the profitability should increase on special drop weekends.

Thanks. Some good advice here, especially the bit about using Armor of Sanctity for a timer. When I get around to revising the original post, I'm going to add this to it (you'll be credited, of course).

I'm not entirely sold on "To the Limit!", however, although it's no worse than Mystic Sandstorm to be sure. I find that the number of times that the run fails because Whirlwind Attack doesn't charge is basically the same as the number of times the run fails because the spike didn't hit hard enough. So, it's a question of "which do you hate more?" for me. I'm looking to try Light of Deldrimor in that spot, because it affects a larger area than Mystic Sandstorm.

@dont feel no pain: Nice job, that looks like the build all the Warrior types have been looking for. The attributes are 12 in Earth Prayers, 12+ in Strength, and the rest in Tactics, I assume?

Also, thanks to everyone who has worked on converting this build for W/D.

how many runs was that nechtan? nice loot gab bag there. so far doin that run ive managed 4 ele swords. oh plus a handful of saurian scythes. other than that its just alot of nickel and dime loot. as stated you can pile up roughly 7k an hour. more if you go Unid, and salvage the correct drops.

That was about 47 runs, give or take. I didn't keep track, but I checked my Asuran points before and after and worked backwards from there. I felt like I was running a little bit lucky, but I did another hour's worth of runs and made 6,881gp with the same number of gold drops. That's not to say that 7k/hr is some astronomical number, mind you, but I wanted to get a number out there so people would know what to expect.
