It's REALLY amazing to see how far Hundred Blades has come.
Thanks for the builds, I'm gonna try these builds out tonight, and I can't wait for event farming.

Permaforms were kinda getting like ursans were (but in rata sum, not HM areas) <.< good to see a change.

Can u aggro the boss with this build or doeas he kill u.
If u cant agro the boss group u can kill only 21 and not 33 nestlings, which would make the SF builds still faster.

Dumb question (haven't played in a loooong time):

I see the damage from Hundred Blades and Whirlwind Attack and the bonus damage from "By Ural's Hammer", but how is that enough to kill these guys?

The damage from Hundred Blades triggers on attack - every time you attack the damage gets dished out. With whirlwind attack, you attack target foe and adjacent foes, meaning that if you have 20 or more enemies gathered (like in this farm) you will attack 20 or more time, meaning the damage from hundred blades is triggered over 20 times. You do the math.

So I swapped out radiants for knights, fort for shelter, and -5/20 for +10 slashing. Made a decent difference, now more like 7-11 items can be looted. I ran around in knights, had no real problems looting with endure. But I guess you could change endure for "Can't Touch This!"

Does Dwarven rank matter much in this build? I'm rank 5 dwarven (don't play as her all that much) and can't seem to kill them in HM.

I knock down their health to maybe 9/10th's after using HB+"BUH!" and WA and then just die after getting maybe one more swing in.

Your Deldrimor rank shouldn't matter, it sounds like you aren't aggroing enough enemies. Make sure to get 22+ raptors.

You don't actually need that at all if you aggro enough raptors.

That's exactly what I'm running. I found I needed sig of stamina to be able to pick up my event drops.

Reguardless if the boss is killed or not, this is the fastest raptor farming build to date. Last night I showed some people in my alliance on how it was done, and just today I had to show some naysayers who still believe that /eles are the fastest. In the time it takes with this 100 Blade build compared to Sliver builds, this is at least 2-3 times faster. Everytime I typed /age, it read 0 minutes.

I only take the 24 and leave the 6 with the broodmother alone. I figure time you save from having a constant speed boost and not waiting for adrenaline makes up for having 20% fewer kills.

i would actually sub in fgj instead of enraging, since sprint is usually 2 or 3 secs off recharge

activate fgj then -> to the limit = full adrenaline

this variant is similar to what i run ... with ural's subbed with air of superiority... with 30+ foes killed, 100% of the time, all your skills will be recharged allowing u to cast your protection skills again + health gain for an easy loot

Aggro'ing Rekoff is a waste of time, you can't kill her, and if you take a second or two too long in aggro'ing her group, your face gets humped by ~33 Nestlings and Broodmother, denying you drops even if you kill the Nestlings. Event items aren't determined by drop rate/loot scaling, nor are Gold items, Dyes, or Tomes; I can do at least 43 runs/hour only on the ~20 Nestlings on the left side of the cave, and I recorded that while chatting, ID'ing, and salvaging between and during the runs with masterjer1 while his Necro leeched Asura rep as my Warrior kicked ass and took names on the Raptor Nestlings.

uh, aggroing the Broodmother's group isn't that big of a deal. I use Mental Block in place of Air of Superiority in thepapu's build, and i run 14 Strength, 11 Sword (lol, you don't need max sword, everything still dies,) 9 Tactics, and 2 Command with Knight's and an absorption. I've had very little trouble aggroing everything so long as you can keep Mental Block up, and Mental Block is also extremely useful when the boss is trying to "hump your face" and you're picking up drops. It's still a superb farm if you skip out on the boss group, but why miss out on extra kills?

A quick analysis of efficiency:

Build 1 [raptorbomb1;OQATEX6WRqrwwKtgnovIVMvYHEA] [video]
takes 40-45 seconds for a kill with at average total run including pickups/zoning of 62seconds (measured over 50 runs). It kills 24 raptors per run, giving 1394 raptors/hr.

Build2 [raptorbomb2;OQkkEtUbFaOUXRaB92WRfRexO4gF][video]
takes 44-50 seconds to kill with an average total run including pickups/zoning of 67 seconds (measured over 50 runs). It kills 33 raptors per run, giving 1773 raptors/hr.

Build 1 also managed to open 12 chests over those 50 runs. Giving a treasure hunter a value of 1min (average time/chest to in fronis) then this still only gives it 1649 raptors/hr so you should definitely do broodmother's group.

Out of curiosity, does anyone have a measured vaetir/hr figure for keg farming for comparison?

It takes me 2:30 min to kill all 60 veattirs (keg farming) so that would be 1440 veattirs per hour.
So it looks like raptor farming now is better for event farming.
