Mo/Rt 600hp Vengeful Spirit Bonder -HM Farmer (330hp Rt/Mo Alternative)
Monk alternative to my 330hp Rt/Mo build. Instead of 330hp, this uses 600hp (601 to be exact). It doesn't use Vengeful Weapon or Reversal of Damage, so it don't get the damage spikes the 330hp Rt/Mo does. But with Higher health and Smiting, it can still kill pretty fast. Check it out if you don't have a Ritualist. Make sure you are in Hard Mode!
================================================== ========
Introduction This of course is an alternative 330hp Rt/Mo build for Mo/Rt that uses 600hp. This build will do 47-48 (29+17/18) damage from VwK and Retribution combined. It's not as fast as my 330hp Rt/Mo, but it will still get the job done quickly.
================================================== ========
Skill Set/Atrributes/Template Code:
[build prof=Mo/Rt Smi=10+3+1 Pro=8+1 Res=12 name="Mo/Rt 600hp Vengeful Spirit Bonder" box][vengeful was khanhei][protective spirit][spirit bond][shield of absorption][vital blessing][retribution][essence bond][balthazar's spirit][/build]
================================================== ========
Equipment: You will have to add Insigneas and Runes exactly as shown below to achieve 601hp.
*Any armor with 15 AL.
Headpiece - Radiant/Sup Smiting Rune
Chest - Radiant/Minor Protection Rune
Hands - Radiant/Vitae
Leggings - Survivor/Minor Vigor
Feet - Radiant/Vitae
Weapon Options:
*Any staff with 20% HSR/10% HCS, and +15 En "Seize the Day" inscription or +5^50 "Hale and Hearty", and 20% enchantment wrap. Or, you can use one-handed caster weapon with any offhand for energy. Staff is recommended. You will get -1 energy pip from having "Seize the Day" inscription (only when VwK is not in use), and maintaining 4 enchants will mean your energy will drain -1 pip. It's no big deal aslong as you only use it just before taking on enemies. A +5 Energy Insightful Staff Head and a +5^50 "Hale-N-Hearty" inscription can be used on staff instead, if you don't want the -1 energy drain.
================================================== ========
Usage:
*Make sure you switch on Hard Mode.
*Switch off weapon with -1 energy regen.
*Cast on enchants one by one and let energy gain full or almost full, before casting another.
*Switch back to farming staff.
*Approach enemies and Cast Protective Spirit and Spirit Bond.
*Hit VwK, and use SoA to reduce all damage for most of duration of VwK. This ensures that you steal 29hp every hit taken. Always use SoA after casting VwK.
*When SoA wears off, begin using Spirit Bond until VwK is recharged and ready.
*repeat until enemies are dead
*Keep up Protective Spirit at all times.
================================================== ========
I never bothered checking out a monk alternative. An exact build set up as my Rt/Mo 330hp wouldn't work near good on a monk... but I checked it out finally, and in about 20 minutes I tweaked a better monk version. This is mainly just for people that don't have a Ritualist, or if you have more places to farm with your Monk than your Ritualist. Otherwise, 330hp Rt/Mo will do the job alot faster. Rt/Mo is recommended
Make sure you are in Hard Mode!
================================================== ========

There is a big list of areas and things to farm on Rt/Mo 330hp thread. Be sure to check it out.

I may be naive but im sure that a SS 55 monk/necro could out damage this. Yes you do 48 health per hit for 9 seconds and 19 for 11 seconds, over 20 seconds thats an average of 32.05 damage per hit, but with SS lasting for 18seconds and being able to cast em on two different enemies would be 14seconds of 29 damage 6 seconds of 58 damage per hit, over 20 seconds thans an average of 38 per hit.
also you would get the benefit of going 55 and being able to use shielding hands + soa combo.
Although yours can handle degen.
also you didnt post the attributes allocation although it would be in the template.

Well this will do 47-48 dmg a hit, but will kill enemies in about 12-14 seconds.

As i said you do 48 damage per hit but for only the 9 seconds that VwK last then you just do 11 damage per hit.
Still its a good build Thanks for sharing it been using your rit/monk one and it works great. Love all the damage from vwk+ vengeful weapon + Reversal of dmg + retribution.

It goes 29+19 (48) damage, which is just as much damage as Rt/Mo does with VwK and Retribution combined. And when VwK does wear off, it does 19 damage, which can easily finish off the foes before the next VwK is recharged.... unless you get half recharge on vwk. that 19 damage can add up. Rt/Mo is definately better... higher damage spikes and 1 less enchantment to maintain. This almost does as much damage as SoJ, but without the knockdowns, it will out perform SoJ any day.

One word: Undead.
No matter how good this build is, it will never replace SoJ for farming Dead Bows and Sephis Axes.
In fact, I doubt it could handle the hoarde behind Oink's house in Gates of Kryta (HM) at all!
*Hugs his shiny 15^50 Sephis*
That said... it does look rather nice.
I think I'll just level up my Ritualist instead though.

You need to buy a suit of the lowest rated armor... mainly from Kamadan or Monastery. Lowest AL you can buy is 15... it is very cheap to buy, so don't worry about spending good chunk of money on it. Max armor won't trigger Spirit Bond as much since they won't be hitting you over 60 dmg everytime, thats why low armor rating is required... that way SB will trigger no matter what enemy you are facing. Also, Make sure you are in Hard Mode when farming... it only makes things quicker, easier, and more profitable. HArd Mode is also needed for SB to trigger everytime. And I just realized I didn't mention Hard Mode, and I will edit the thread.

Do you have Hard Mode unlock? if not, that is why they are not hitting you over 60 everytime...
