For some reason when I do this my hero takes a lot of damage and ends up dying. Life Bond hurts my hero too much.

If you're a Mo/X or X/Mo don't use a Life Bonder, that should be obvious.
If you're not a Mo/X or X/Mo, wear max armour. I've had no problems with AL45 as long as the monk had a self-heal like [skill=text]Signet of Devotion[/skill].

Definitely not unless you've got an awesome ping to overcome the Mesmer interrupts.
If you've got GW:EN, go with the Kilroy quest.

I'm running a r/mo and have finally gotten to Level 20 to do HM runs. 1 Quick question; for the moderate run, do you also take out the patrolling mob that consists of a rit and a mesmer or do you just skip those?
I'm also having trouble taking out the ritualist even with burning+poison.... healing keeps the ritualist alive. Should I take broad head arrow instead? Its energy level seems a bit high, so I might consider taking out points in marksmaship and dropping a few in expertise.
Any advice?
I guess I'll just stick to smiting for now, as it seems a bit more reliable than hoping to interrupt.

It's quicker to just kill everything around the Rit, log out, rinse, repeat...

Don't do the Kilroy farming unless you have a 100% stable connection.
Just lost my rank 2 survivor about 20 minutes after reading this (aka worst decision of the week). Had a lag spike during KO and couldn't fill up my energy - dead, survivor gone.
Should have done it with regular playing like before.

Nice guide I might use it, but Currently I am close to rank 2 from doing Quest and Capping skills, I am taking my time with this, I am not starting over.

This method is really, really, *really* risky. It's the fastest but also the UNsafest way to reach Legendary Survivor. If you have no 100% stable connection LEAVE IT.
Tried it about 7 times in the past 6 days (yea, I'm crazy) and never got past 3 or 4 hours of doing these runs.
Eventually it always ends up the same way: I run into a lag spike (i.e. everything stands still for 10 seconds; you can click your skills, but aside from the skill icon blinking, nothing will happen - 10 seconds later the action resumes with me being dead).
Got a rather stable and fast internet connection, but every now and then I get these lag spikes as described. In a group those hardly matter, but doing a Kilroy run it means CERTAIN death.
Chances for me of getting to 1.3M exp without a single lag spike are close to zero, so I am going back to capping Elites and doing other stuff.
But for those with a hell of a connection and (or) TONS of luck, this really is the fastest way to LS. Should be able to do it in about 12 hours. In theory.

Check out the link in the third part of the guide...10 hours. 'In theory', it can be done in 6 to 7 hours for a prophecies character. Tons of luck is not required, a good ping is required.
Kilroy's is easy, fast, profitable, fun, solo and can be done with any class...stick to that unless you want the challenge of doing the 70K XP runs with a Mo/Me or Me/Mo.
It sounds to me like you have a crap internet connection - you shouldn't lag spike at all if you have a stable and fast connection.

For the records: I was talking about Kilroy's run. Not that I care what a jerk like you has to say anyway.

Be less bad. QQ
Seriously, if you're on a good connection you shouldn't get lag spikes unless you're playing on an event weekend.

You wouldn't have to start over... just start on your current survivor.

Just don't play on event weekends or whatever... If you have lag spikes normally, this isn't for you, but then what survivor method is?

Nowhere is it clear where you're talking about Kilroy's run (do you mean the 12 hours part, the seven times in six days, or the lag spikes?). I don't see where you get off calling Antithesis a jerk, either... Or does him calling your internet connection crap make him a jerk in your eyes? Cause I agree with him.

Why they can't cast? There is somewhere a script ,,don't enchant anything except for other heroes/henches/allies''?
