So is the idea to not kill the aatxes????
cause it takes me litterally 10min to kill all the aatxes using ur build, they got too much health/regen.

You CAN take out attaxes with the Lava Font, MoR build, but it does take a while, the trick is to use vipers defense to poison them to stop regen from them.
However, i do have energy issues using this build, i use a caster sword, and cyndr's heart (+15-1), however im thinking it kinda hurts my regen, so i was thinking should i use a staff instead? If so what one, and im cheap so is there a collector equivalent? Also i have full radiant armor of attunement.

I use my Galigord's Staff for the fire Build, I have an Insightfull staff head and enchantment mod for a fire staff just need to get one, using a Zealous mod isn't good not enough energy regen.

So, with this build, you're unable to kill Aatxes? If not, why would you not want to? They drop ectos as well..
EDIT:: Read some of the above comments. Eh, i'll stick with my current permashadow sliver build for a while.

Because in terms of time spent, its far better to kill Spectres. Thats why smite runs are more popular than smite+aatxe runs, as well as more profitable in terms of time spent.

Nope. Shadow Form doesn't last long enough. You can make it work with a +1 attribute consumable though, although the margin of error will be slim when it comes to keeping shadow form up.

13 is the bare minimum to keep it up 100% with Swiftness and enchant mod, and even then you have no breathing room at all and must recast immediately upon recharge (14 and up give you some decent cushion). At 12 you have about a half second of downtime, which leaves you with 41 health and a tiny window to get interrupted, swatted, etc.

I find that hard to believe maybe you just overfarmed? Anyway good combo is GoLE+ebon standard of courage which adds some nice armor ignoring+Xdmg, air of superioty because it can rc ur skills and give u +5energy. I use dark escape to run there. Happy hunting

It's something I've noticed too...especially when farming for Glacial Stones.
If you take stuff out all at once you get less 'junk' drops and collectable drops. There doesn't seem to be much of a difference for the gold drop rate however.
If things drop one after the other I tend to walk away with more.
Don't know if anybody else has found this happening.

I did around 5 runs, great build! I just dont see how most people are averaging a high rate of ecto per run, I only average around 2-3 ecto.

im averaging 6-12 ectos a run, i kill the aatxes in room 1 , labyrinth , the way to smites , the ones on the way to the chaos planes , kill the 8 dryders outside the spawning pools, clear bone pits, planes
takes around 40-50 minutes [lava font + mor build] NM btw
the trick is to pull as many aatxes and find choke points, usually 3 minutes a group of atxe so its wise to pull as many as you can
and to the person who has energy issues, u shouldnt us 15/-1 kills ur energy over time. i use 20/20 fire offhand and caster sword aswell and longbow of enchanting for pulls
attune-> sf comb -> glyph -> mor -> lava font -> lava font -> sf combo -> lava font -> glyph -> mor -> font -> font -> attune -> sf combo

40 minutes? i cleared the chamber/labyrinth and the dryders, then moved to chaos plains, cleared that, killed some dryders (note im not to familiar with the underworld places) then started on the bone pits before getting bored an leaving with 5 ectos, but that took me at least an hour and 10 minutes, i still dont see how some people say they can get a chaos plains clear in 15 minute runs.
Also TY on your advice on the offhand

i just did a run as e/a with consumables works fine! But at graspings when i put shadow form on, they still charge enough adrenaline to use fear me! why is that?

That's because they gain adrenaline when they take damage. For every 20-25% of health lost, they gain approximately 1 strike of adrenaline, the equivalent of an attack landing. So if you use AoE skill, prepare for a Fear Me spike once they are about to die. What you should do is switch to a low set so you'll have enough energy to put up SF again on your high set.

Take a zealous dagger and start hitting the grasps. It recharges your energy even faster than the simple >>>> regen.

I usually spam them more with Lava font so they run away, I have never been hit with Fear me from the Clear the chamber Darkness, or the ones on the way to the Obsidians, after i was done with the run and went exploring the darkness in the forgotten Vale got me killed because there were so many of them, I got hit with Fear me a lot.
