Best if you make A/E, get a Conjure + glyph of swiftness and auto-attack for the win. Maybe Critical Agility for more uber pwnage.

doesn't work

unfortunately using the glyph of swiftness means no mes...and so far, i for one, have not found a suitable mana gain as A/E to perpetually farm stuff
on the OTHER hand, with this original build i can easily farm tomb of primeval kings (prophecies dessert...ya remember that? lol)
i can do the first lvl in a clean easy 10 minutes flat ^_^ on average rack a gd 1 ecto 1 lockpick and 1 warrior tomb
whats cool is it can probably do all of lvl 2 and the rest as well (i havent had enuf time to check thoroughly but i do kno this)
the worms knock u down but u need only stay still and farm right where they popup to kill them (just dont hex them.....ionno why but it tends to get ripped off/disapear early)
*shrug* anyhow, thats my two cents worth, free entry, almost forsure drop, and super easy ^_^ now that u have so much lee-way to cast SF....oh, and they die faster than lvl 32 aatxes -_-'''

yeah, you need 30 energy every 34-36 seconds and you regen 40 energy every 30 secs, 30 energy every 30 if ur using a zeal dagger (plus 1 per hit) but that wont work on smites, aatxes and possibly other stuff. so i guess its swiftness,paradox, SF and a nucking bar for uw if u want to go a/e, its idiot proff though

I'd like to say good job to Teotuf and TarjaTeOrteyn for the build and guide.
It looks like with the pve/pvp update, this may unfortunately become obselete due to A/E requiring less attention to maintain [Glyph of Swiftness][Feigned Neutrality] and [Shadow Form].
On the other hand, Me/A seems like it can use this template with success now.
All in all, thanks for sharing this with us.

What I use is this:
[wandering eye][deadly paradox][arcane echo][shadow form][ether nightmare][cry of pain][spirit of failure][dash]
10+3+1 shadow, 12 inspiration, the rest in illusion. Wandering eye speeds up the killing process a lot and I can't be arsed to gring reputation to go for radiation field or something similar. r2 alliance faction and r6 sunspear and it takes me 40 minutes to clean the entire labyrinth + plains. If anyone has any suggestions or good alternatives, I'd love to know
This builds works like a charm. Great work teotuf!

w/ the new update, the run to chaos planes is easier than ever!
now if you skip the aatxes and go straight for the chaos planes, it can be done in HM in under 35 min, and under 25 min in NM
i also updated the guide with a video of the run to chaos planes after the update, hopefully that'll answer many ppl's question about which path to take, what to do etc.
another thing is the new a/e sliver build. it is perfectly capable of doing this as well, albeit slower. i'm saying this by comparing the marginal damage for aggroing 1 more enemy. for the a/me build, its about 18/sec, for the a/e build, its about 30/2 = 15/sec assuming that the avg time for sliver to be up is 1/2 of the time, and that mobs atk/cast at a avg rate of once/sec.
altho slower, the a/e version is able to do the spawning pool, so it all depends on the preference of the user.

Are you serious, 1 ecto per first level??????
I did three ToPK runs, clearing the first level (4-5 minutes) and everything that drops ecto on the second level (ignoring most of the grasps/scythes, especially ones near wurms).
No ectos at all.

Precast shadow form before entering the behemoth area, you have to recast 2 times and if you do that while not under nature's renewal it's still doable without gettin the charged blacknesses after you.
