So after spending some time searching the forums recently I was trying to locate a good farming build for these because of the Traveler, I know in the past there was a Mo/D build but I was unable to locate it, also I saw a D/Mo version but it didnt include any anti kd, just curious to see what creativity there is out there as when the last farms for these were build we didnt have any of these spiffing PVE skills.

My initial thoughts were
SoJ
PS
Mystic Regen
Balthy Spirit
Watchful Spirit
Fleeting Stability

Damage Skills of your choice
Judge's Intervention
Kirin's/Holy Wrath
Sig of Mystic Wrath

I just went as a 55 on my necro - PvXwiki has a lot of variations on 55 builds.
You generally lack Anti-KD but I never found that to be an issue. Precast Prot spirit then recast it when all the Meteors are spent.
Personally, I ran:
[OANEYyxN+6UPAJV18weQfIPEJA] - PS, HBreeze, SoLS, SS, Insidious, EssenceB, BalthS, Mending

Not exactly creative or original, but it worked well enough.

I think I remember using a 330rt for these.
Should be pretty easy to farm with any prof.

I went 600/smite, killed about 70 hydras in one run and got exactly 10 claws. I didnt even take an elite.. took rad field, pain inverter and fleeting stability, with balt on the smiter (instead of attune). Was pretty easy.

Uh, i deleted my necro because i never used him. And me monk is barely in the jungle never mind the desert. So i used a crappy Enchanted tank, with like 7 skills to keep me alive and one attack skill xD still, it did the job and i got my ten claws in 20 minutes. Woulda been much, much faster with a 55 necro.

55 monk old school build blew through it in 15 min 65 hydras = 12 claws

and btw Healing Breeze is still the best regen skill ever

[Dwarven stability] [drunken master] (balance in WAMMO) would be wurth a shot / and work on a title at the same time. maybe axe for cyclone and triple chop

The build above in the screen is good, although I don't use Radiation Field, just bring Fleeting Stability to counter KD's and you'll be fine, you can still even use SoJ and it'll be fine.

I Just Used Classic 55 Build With Essence Bond Changed For Balanced Stance...

1-Protective Spirit..2-Healing Breeze..3-Shield Of Judgement..4-Blessed Signet..5-Balanced Stance..6-Blessed Aura..7-Balthz Spirit..8-Mending

Took On 7 Hydras At Same Time And Did Very Well.. Woulda Done More But Couldnt Find A Bigger Group ! Lol

You do have to laugh in a nice way - anet managed for 1 week to bring bk the old hydra farming and suddenly ppl are retrying old builds and old builds tweaked with eotn skills.
Should be fun seeing loads of old builds bein posted again and taking a trip down memory lane.

Talon - old school 55 with hb is gd but i`ll always prefer 55 mo/d with mystic regen - unless anet nerfs mystic again its always no1 with hb 2nd .

I just go 600/SMite with Balanced Stance and IAU - tactics 7 or 8, and rad field which I saw here and thought as a good idea. Although drops went to lower rate

Optional is radiation field or LoD, can also drop regen and use Shield hands and SoA for 0 tanking

Not sure if anyone needs a solo farm build for the hydras on a warrior, but I used this crazy noob build and it worked just fine Note do not agro more than 3 at a time. You can easily change to a sword build or add whatever axe skill you want but the balance keeps you alive. Sorry I do not have may attribute spread it was really spread out
