Crystal wave + fragility farming
Since fragility is an AoE hex now, there's definite synergy between it and crystal/tenai's wave. One of the gripes I've always had with farming as earth ele was the fact silver armor was really the only option for damage.
So, I've been thinking about it and I came up with a possible build.
Crystal Wave
Fragility
Ward of Weakness
Erruption
armor of earth
stoneflesh aura
?
?
basically you'd hex everyone with fragility then cast ward of weakeness and Erruption, causing 200-100 earth damage + 36 dmg from fragility (at rank 12), then casting crystal wave will do +100 armor ignoring damage +36 from fragility, and if you cast it while erruption is still going off, the blindness and weakness will be re-applied, and do another +36 damage.
So a total of 200-100 + 208 armor ignore damage, for a total of roughly 308-408 damage over 5 seconds. And thats just with those six skills.
You can bring obsidian flesh + glyph of swiftness as your last two slots if needed, of if casters aren't a problem then you could bring Tenai's wave for another +172 amour ignoring damage, and maybe an e-mangement skill.
Unfortunately I don't have EoTn and I can't test how effective it is myself, but maybe someone wants to give it a shot on mountain trolls or something? (as a proof of concept).

Glyph of swiftness and obs flesh would be best for extra protection, but if you specifically find a group of noncasters you'l be fine.
Your lacking in some serious energy management there. Also erruption causes major scatter, so you won't actually hit the mob for 308-408, and even if you did, 308-408 is barely enough to kill things in normal mode, never mind hardmode.
For energy mangament you could go with mantra of earth and stone striker.
EDIT: Another thing i didnt think about was that if you was farming a group of melee, blinding them won't help with stone striker + mantra of earth for energy.
And i found that out by testing on some trolls in talus chute
Another EDIT: Casting fragility, then applying ward of weariness and then casting crystal wave didn't activate fragility. I think in that case it cleared the condition before it was applied :S I dunno.
Also the trolls have disrupting chop, and tenais/cystal wave causes scatter too :S
Yet another EDIT: Just tried in normal mode, and used fragility then ward of weariness, eruption and then crystal wave, which did cause some pretty damage and to my surprise, no scatter.
But even on the trolls in NM they were still left with 1/4-1/5th health left.

Possibly Modify this for a faster E/Me Raptor farmer?
But yea, try modifying some of the old E/Me Terra Tanks to use fragility, might get som good results.

from wiki - With enough conditions, Crystal Wave can cause a massive AoE spike.
Id say find a way to add multiple conditions - radiation field perhaps as more conditions means more spike dmg and thats what you need but a flaw would be vs mesmers as they could use hex removal and spike you back.
Testing wise id say find somewhere you know that has foes who will scatter normally - its better to see if they scatter then try elsewhere.Hm would fail as the ai is programmed to scatter as said when aoe is used and that would cause longer skill use and nrg drain.

What about a duo farm instead. A terra tank with tenai's wave, possibly crystal wave too. The have a second character, probably a mes for a stronger fragility, with virulence, weaken armor, ymlad, fragility and epidemic. That would make 5 conditions to spread over the mob, so a lot of numbers :P At 16 illusion, its 105 for the triggering of fragility +105 for the ending+ whatever damage the wave skills do. Add in By urals hammer and the damage should be enough to eliminate quite a lot.

I second the duo farm. Would make it easier, and solo farming is just...not enough slots.

Build idea, just tried quickly on trolls with mes hero. Would obv work better with real mes:
Mo/E PS, SB, Ward Against Foes, Tryptophan Sig, YMLaD, Crystal Wave, Balth Spirit, Blessed Aura
Me/N Frag, Shrinking Armor, Accumulated Pain, Drain Delusions, Virulence, Epidemic, Cry of Pain, Sunspear Rebirth Sig
WaF and Tryptophan are obv to reduce scatter in HM, but one or the other can probably be removed so if energy is a problem, bring essence bond. Don't need either in NM, so can bring w.e. Monk rounds up enemies, mes uses skills in order, after frag is applied, monk can use YMLaD, just gotta make sure its before epidemic. Crystal wave after epidemic. Mes can call out skills as he uses them. Hero is hella hard to constantly micro while keeping up SB, so real mes is best. Don't have time to do any extensive testing, so if someone wants to, that'd be great.
