Volley? Maybe..
I know its a lot less damage and all, but its worth a shot.
Or ignite arrows and Triple shot? I dunno, just throwing out some ideas now.

I just tried this but I brought a monk hero. Hero with Mending + watchful spirit allows me to stay alive forever. However I kept being blinded at all time!
What skill they use that cause blindness?? I could not see any from the screen or wiki.

The glimmering snowman can interrupt a skill and cause blindness if he interrupt. If you want to kill him, do not use barrage. But you should skip him, just go back a little bit, he will not follow you.

I was thinking of using vigorous spirit in lieu of "feel no pain!"
Even with no attributes in healing prayers it's still healing for 5 health per attack/spell, and at a quarter second cast time and 5 second recharge, if it does get interrupted it's not the end of the world.

This looks quite good, I might start doing a little grinding of the Norn!
P.S: How much points towards the Dwarven title do you gain for it on average?

been giving it a go, a lot easier in NM and I guess for something like event farming its not too important that the other drops arent as good.
I swapped I am the Strongest! for Volley as i havent got the norn skill yet and it went ok.

I am happy someone else made another ranger take on this farm(I was the one that came up with the defiant was xinrae+whirling defense build). I figured this would work as I did testing at one point for a different reason. The snowmen don't do water damage only their normal wand attacks do the snow balls are elemental as well but I never took the time to test it with each mantra to determine which it is but it does trigger storm chaser. In this build thats all that really matters is storm chaser so its a non point. I am also sure other areas could be farmed using both of these techniques since meta teams usually have a collapse point in their build.

You mean near the map ? These are two distinct mobs. You should kill the first one with bbarrage, and lure the other on ice traps because they have an hex that makes them interrupt barrage.

Is this still doable ? Don't recall any nerfs since that blew this away.
Did anyone have success with it elsewhere ?
Many thanx

Sure it works, a little harder since Feel no Pain was nerfed. But the biggest problem with it is that it's a pretty slow way to farm event items and the general drops were never good quality.

I was playing around with this build yesterday and ended up getting distracted and making a video using all secondary professions. Admittedly some builds for some prof are kinda pointless but what the hell, was just for fun. Just farming the first 2 big mobs at the start.
Obviously includes this build
And yeh i know i messed up using AoS for one build but i'd already recorded the vid and it was an optional slot so w/e
Enjoy http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U11AJ-bUk2s
oh yeh i found the RMes build quickest

Have you tried Dwarven Stability instead of unstoppable, might allow you to drop the WS a bit, and up the Markmanship. While working on a drunkard title :-)
again, nice build.

alchocol+feel no pain would add +300hp
and that would destroy the whole build
