I have been farming the Underworld Smite Crawlers for around 40 runs about now (that have been successfuly killed all crawlers). But it seems that I never lose an aatxe aggro, or die by those dang Coldfire Nights, its making me really mad.

On top of that on the 40 runs I've done I have not gotten a single glob of ectoplasm. My brother who just started got 4 in one group. WTF are you kidding me. Am I cursed or what.

So I'm not doing the UW for quite a while since it has become a serious money waster unless someone can tell me what im doing wrong

the more you farm the place the less the chances for the drops...

if drops start to dwindle for me i go do a ZM or ZB.. at least mix your farming up a bit, try different areas, make a new char to farm with.

I've found that repetitive farming decreases drops and increases frustration (OP is the prime example).

Ecto farming gets boring very, very quickly. All it takes is a bit of imagination and believe me you can easily make the gold equivalent of an ecto run in many different locations with various methods, farming different mats/drops.
