Well where i farm feathers is jaya bluffs with my ele and a double dragon build, and for dust, you could raptor farm and salvage the great conches or farm the fog nightmares outside of ToA. Good luck

For dust try the fog nightmares outside the temple of ages. If you do a search you should come up with a thread.

Dust isnt worth farming, its only worth 3k per stack
I would suggest you can do some profitable missions that also drop dust, such as FOWsc
In FOWsc, you should be able to get 4~6 dark remains in a run, and each one can be salvaged to approximately 14 dust. So its like 70 dust per run.
It is more profitable than just dust farming this way.

I just salvage all drops (literally)
Not as fast, but I can get a stack of each in a few hours.
Problem is I'm left with stacks of wood etc that nobody wants.

Feathers, I prefer Jaya Bluffs. For dust, I farm Raptors:
Salvage all "measure for measure" inscriptions from drops
ID all gold Great Conches that drop.
Put "measure for measure" on any that are over about 325g merch value (higher merch value means more salvageable materials).
Then salvage for dust.
You can get half a stack (125) or more each time doing this, I've had 175 from a single salvage before . Ties in nicely if you are farming Raptors for event goodies anyway. Like now. Pies FTW.

the starfish focus salvage into just as much dust as conches do so toss on a measure for measure on to those as well.
