Jaya Bluffs Monk Feather Farm Normal Mode(Video)
Here is a video which contains all of the information you'll need to solo farm feathers in Jaya Bluffs, just outside of Seitung Harbor in Factions. I put it up for people who either don't like the 600/Smite feather farm in Nebo Terrace and North Kryta Province or just aren't set up for it. It's high quality, detailed and easy to follow.

Enjoy, all you Monks.

well, you didn't give any attribute spread that i saw and it's also pretty hard to actually see the skills you're using in the corner of your screen, especially if you're not familiar with them. you're also using 1.5-2k worth of consumables during the run. i don't think it's necessary to use them but other newer players may be confused since you didn't mention anything about it. if you truly want to be helpful, it'd be nice for newer players if you could elaborate on all these things.

've been making so many Assassin videos lately and I felt like my Monk was being neglected...So here's a way to solo farm feathers with a Monk. If you don't have your character set up to 600/Smite Nebo Terrace/North Kryta Province or just don't like to 600/Smite, you may like this run instead. It's just one that I came up with about a year and a half ago, before people really started farming feathers.
Skills:
Tenai's Crystals, Crystal Wave, Shockwave, Sliver Armor, Kinetic Armor, Stoneflesh Aura, Healing Breeze, Balthazar's Spirit.
Attributes:
14 Healing Prayers(12+1+1)
12 Earth Magic
3 Divine Favor
Armor:
Any set of max armor, a Healing Prayers head piece, a Minor Rune of Healing, 5 Radiant Insignias, 3 Runes of Attunement, 1 Major/Superior Vigor Rune.
Weapon:
Any Insightful Staff of Enchanting
Walkthrough:
Head to Seitung Harbor and make sure you are in Normal Mode.
Head outside through the Northern-most portal, into Jaya Bluffs.
Cast Balthazar's Spirit on yourself, then run in the direction I did. Pass the first set of Yetis and wait by the groups of Sensali until they kill the Yetis which they have already engaged in combat with.
After the kill those two Yetis, they will start running toward you. Cast Healing Breeze, then Kinetic Armor, then Stoneflesh Aura on yourself. With those up, you can hold three or four groups without dying. Now cast Tenai's Crystals, Crystal Wave, Shockwave, then(If any are still alive), Sliver Armor.
Repeat that process of casting through every group of Sensali that I killed.
Each run takes between 7 and 10 minutes. Buy Salvage Kits to salvage the Feathered Scalps into Feathers. Each run should yield between 30 - 50 feathers.
Message me or comment on the video if you have any questions for me.

It's a decent build, I used it on my ele though and I netted around 50 feathers. Although I find 600'ing tengus outside LA easier, or spirit spam there. Otherwise, it's a decent build, but sometimes it's not as profitable as the tengu farm.

How are you only averaging 50 feathers? Is it because of the speed of deaths. I've been Spirit Spamming the Sensali with my ranger in normal mode, and while my run takes a little longer (1/2hr), I have yet to make a run that does not net me over 100 feathers after salvaging all the crests. And most runs net me over 1.2k after merching all weapons and and runes to cover costs of basic slavage kits.
So does how fast you kill affect the drops? I'd gladly switch up to a different build if the feather drops remained the same.

This run, as I said, takes between 7 and 10 minutes. Yes, you get fewer drops because they all tend to die at once. I don't remember why A-Net decided to do that, but I know it's true.

I believe it does, i run a spirit spammer on my Ele in normal mode there. I get far more feathers it seems using that than the double dragon fire build i was using.
Usually get around 70-100 feathers per run (after you salvage the crests) usually takes me about 20 mins to do a run.
