I've been away for a while so maybe things have changed.

AV+Famine makes all 3 Guardian of Komalie's (Mesmers) attack you if you regroup (ball) them right. For SV you need melee attacks, use the titans for that. After few seconds both ki's will ball with riders and titans, because they will try to heal the riders. Now SV will reduce the ki's energy to 0 and famine will finish them in few seconds and u could use radiation field to speed the kill. This way you kill riders and ki's together but all that is possible only if u regroup the riders. You could find basic riders regroup in here: http://www.xfire.com/video/1c4f39/
The tactic now is little different but pay attention to the riders, how they ball near the tank without moving back and start attacking.
