Why, yes, the answer to this question is indeed the same for every single event, ever. Raptors, Vaettirs, or any other mob that you can kill large amounts of quickly.

it didnt for me either until i closed gw fully and reloaded it. so does this mean its ends tues or starts tues?

Congrats anet on another fine cockup on the login screen - good to see your making us as confused as possible.
I assume it starts tonight and ends tuesday - going by anets standard of weekend events start fri an end mon ( tues for this case ).
I wonder if anets doing a repeat of last yr and easter they`ll not announce - somehow they forgot to announce it and the cries 5 mins after it started of " have the drops started yet ???" all over gw.
Is it possible for a mod to make a sticky on "event farming" and link event farms within as myself and im sure many others are sick of the constant posts that rise for events ( like ppl who are unable to use the wonderfull search option.

in any case, yes there is another thread, and a good farmable spot would be either raptors or vaettir, i don't know the current top speed for raptors, but i can hit 3 mins for the vaettir, which seems quite fast enough to get festival items.

I scored 1 Black die and about 20 each of the event drops in about 10 trips to the raptors.
