Thanks to the recent Obby flesh change, this farm is much faster and a bit more viable. Granted nothing earns as much as speed runs, but, if you want to look for some canthan celestial weapons than this is an ok place to farm in HM.

I did this before the obby flesh change, but the speed decrease slowed the build a lot. First you need your basic obby flesh build. I am not saying I came up with this build, its just one of its uses is all.

Glyph of swiftness
Obby flesh
Stoneflesh aura
Mantra of earth
Stone striker
Intensity
Ebon vanguard standard of honor
Silver armor

16 earth, I have 9 energy storage and 10 inspiration, but that can be switched around as long as you have 15+ earth. A shield or armor + earth damage helps but is not needed.

We will be farming mantids outside of Naphui Quarter in HM. If you know how to use this kind of build, than thats all you need, otherwise there is one tip.

You want to take out the monks first, so gather the 3 groups outside and move around. The necros have shorter ranged attacks and will clump up closer to you, so you want to run past them when the monks are at least somewhat clumped up in the back, then just unleash your silver armor on them. Once the monks are dead, go for the necros.

Good for some gold celestial weapons.

Just make sure you are farming the Mantids outside Naphui Quarter and not the Vermin you used to farm lol.

You should try it, i think it would improve ur farm runs a bit

(not saying "pff using noob skills"), but BUH is alot better

atm, my sunspear title is maxed on my ele giving the max amount of damage % to match BUH, while my Delver title is very small, giving i think 8 seconds duration atm. With an enchanting weapon I get 2 extra seconds on Intensity, or like...realistically +.75 or whatever seconds if you include aftercast + silver armor casting time.

Atm its just fine but If i decide to max more titles on my ele than yeah I will prolly switch to BUH

Grats! like I said, ive done this run for a while even before the change, so my drop rate has kind of plummeted. For everyone else though it should be good for a couple months.

I did get 500g worth of items every run this day though...so thats kinda nice.

I'm not positive you can get ALL of them, but I have gotten Celestial hammers from them before...I don't see why they would drop only hammers. I think I got a shield also....

If done this farm with a similar build before, and after, the update and have gotten plenty of celestials from them (swords, shields, bows, daggers come to mind).

Also, every once in a while there's a chest that spawns with a group of mantids, which is a nice little bonus.
