8 man urgoz farm
Has anyone ever done this?
I know that people always go with 12 to make it easier. but what if you dont have enough friends or guild members to go? cause lately urgoz has been pretty empty besides it being one of the ZB.
So the other day i decided to put together 2 player builds and 6 hero builds.
and we were able to complete urgoz. we didn't try it in HM yet. but we did finish in nm.
if ne one wants to give it a try pm me in game.
usually on

Meh. Anything in GW is possible with 8-man (2 people, 6 heroes) except for UW (pre-Dhuum was heroable for me, post Dhuum is not).
I even have a particular team build that allows me to do The Deep and Urgoz's Warren on NM with 8-man with no hiccups/fails (and with zero consumabled unlike the link in YouTube). It's just a matter how knowing what to do and what skills are required (such as Necrotic Traversal for Urgoz).
Meh.

After some digging, I found some old screenshots of when I cleared FoW, Urgoz's Warren and The Deep with 8-man.
***note***: We took the Mesmer with us because he needed the HoM statue. We didn't need to take them on the runs since they were completely doable without them (I say them because they are 2 different people who just so happen to have a Mes as their primary. xD). I just couldn't find a screenie of a party tab with just me and my gf.
And so, FOR THE PICTURES!!
Urgoz's Warren
The Deep
Fissure of Woe
@ the admins: this is not a "brag post". All of these screens were taken over a year ago. The purpose of this post is purely to show that "they are possible to do with a full hero team without all 12 people" (excluding FoW, of course)
edit: For Urgoz, we did it in around an hour and 10 minutes. For the Deep, we our best time was 41 minutes. And for FoW, I really don't remember. Maybe an hour? >_>

I'm sure it would be possible, but the only reason to do so is if you can't find enough people. much more fun with a bunch of people

Not calling you a liar, but what makes it impossible?

Everyone is different. Some prefer a mixture of real people and heroes, some prefer only real people, and then there's me: I don't trust anyone to come with me and my gf.
Well... I take that back. There's like 2 people I can think of who I trust enough to let PuG/fill a spot, but the apple doesn't land any further than that.

There are numerous things that make it possible. Some of the biggest parts is knowing what to expect, knowing how to prioritize, being overly-experienced and the most important, knowing how to be a leader and make split-second decisions (this goes from knowing when to backline to stepping in to play someone's bar for them [aka, tell them what to do, how to do it and when to do it at certain scenarios while still playing your own bar]).
I'm just going off of personal experience in Guild Wars from whenever I play.

Hmm. I have yet to do the new UW with Dhuum in it.
I just assumed you would not be able to due to me not knowing what would happen if you make it to Dhuum and a hero dies. Would their "spirit" be able to come back to the room? Or would it simply stay with the mayor? I ask this because in order to get back you need to physically talk to him (the mayor) and click "send me back".
I guess I have a new goal in Guild Wars: to kill Dhuum with full heroes. Give me 1 or 2 tries, he'll be put back to rest. ^___^

I said I was not sure if it COULD be with heroes since I was unsure what would happen if a hero dies and if it returns back to the battlefield (battle room?) or not. Being minus 1-6 players should would leave an incredible burden on the remaining team.
Read everything I said, you'll see it.
