So since it is becoming increasingly obvious that the "balancing" of Wanted quests is just a joke, I am wondering what people are doing to farm supplies nowadays.

Sure I can keep doing Falken in HM, but for 6 supplies and no green drops yet

it seems like a big waste of time. Has anyone figured out a faster way of obtaining them? Or am I just gonna have to deal with another grind?

My end goal is to get enough presents to give myself a good chance at a mini livia and/or Salma

.

So what say you Guru, grind or am I missing something

I don't mind doing Falken in HM, although I can't even finish it. Mind letting me in on your H/H setup? It just seems to me that hero monks don't understand the importance of Falken's life...

Sorry, I don't think there are any good ways to farm the war supplies as of yet. Maybe cause they're not supposed to be farmed, since they're trying to keep the presumed new mantle weapons somewhat prestigious.

Shining Blade Bounties on multiple chars can provide quite a few a day....given it not one of the ones with crap 4 as reward.

Yeah, that's what I'm doing. I started with two chars that could enter the Lion's Arch keep, now I've got four... and I've almost got another one ready.

I ignore Falken, he's a dead man. I only take bounties that reward 15+ War Supplies. Days with crap bounties, I prefer to spend my time running more chars far enough that they can enter Lion's Arch Keep and take any 15+ bounties.

I ran Falken like crazy before the nerf, converted War Supplies to Royal Gifts in the hopes of a nice mini (for myself, not for sale). But now I'm just stacking up the War Supplies until we find out what Medals of Honor are for. If it turns out to be nothing special, or the ones I've already got are sufficient... I'll just blow the War Supplies on Royal Gifts, or use them as consumables.

We can tell by anets example of balancing the war bounties means the following -
We nerf courier forcing players to do war bounties instead of everyone doing courier .
What the hell happened to their adjusting the war bounties rewards and please dont say it was the higher bounties .
WIk im starting to get into but the bounties suck in general and im ending up doing farming runs for orders which themselves can be a bugger to get - vq watchtower coast and your lucky to get 5 in total and weirdly for trophy item i get more in hm than nm .
Courier runs they nerfed but you cant tell me it was affecting the game really - now royal gifts are costing 7 - 10k which is higher than before and all its done is boosted prices.
Now wintersday event when opened will be ruled by ranger an rit teams FARMING the snowball fight for candy shards and wow anets fine with that , i think more ppl did that than the rest of the event stuff an probably even going for polar bear.
WE are not allowed to farm quests in pve but jump into pvp when zcombat is on and again its wow we can farm the repeatable zcombat and make loads of zcoins.
Im not having a moan or a dig but things need sorting as Wik is surely becoming a big drag now for players and a lot of players now cannot be bothered with wik bounties that pay 3 or 4 supplies that means walking from toa all thru iron curtain down to kessex peak - heck i may as well do 2 courier runs in nm - a lot quicker and i get 6 supplies then i can go bk to doing something else in gw lol.

Shoyon - if you think anets trying to keep the new greens prestigious then your mistaken - in a few days of farming/vq or w/e in watchtower coast and cursed lands etc ive ( and quite a lot of other players ) have probably started hitting kills in the thousands regarding peacekeepers and i think i got the interdictor shield at almost 900 kills and ive not seen yet the market flooded with wik greens.If anet wanted them as such then only bosses would drop them and we usually know bosses at times hate giving us their weapons no matter what lol.
Ps my guildie who did same amount of kills as me as they partnered me all way thru them hasnt seen 1 yet.

there isn't really a way to farm for a lot of things without grind, lol. if ur getting tired of courier, do bounties on more characters, but farming courier is the only true repeatable income of war supplies that is consistent.

Take standard hero spiritway, swap out Ghostly Might for Soul Twsting, and add shelter and displacement. This will do wonders for keeping moron Courier alive, and keep your spirits respawning at a pace to keep up with the guy's run. Beyond that I would suggest some kind of disruption for the rather strong healer mobs. A lucky poweblock from Dunham might be enough, or you can just time technobabble right. It's also helpful if you can take a spare account along to leech in place of a hench.

in all honesty u can probably gain more confessors orders to get little over 6 war supplies total by vanqing in HM or taking an all player team to farm in the Peacekeepers areas in nm/HM.

if you go in hm youll have certain whites and trophies overwritten with chances of lockpicks or tomes to drop...and even higher gold drop rate. which no one has proven but maybe since this overwrite maybe higher greens. ive gotten 3 law and orders in HM yet nothing in nm :/ . so just consider it. take a farming team i can solo HM and nm SoS assassin and just take something like Finish him

My typical HM set up for Falken is myself R/D Pet-Scythe Ranger, A Dwayna's Sorrow Minion Bomber, A N/Rt Healer modded to have SoS and Painful bond for added damage, and Vekk as a ER Prot spammer. For Henchies I just grab the ele and monk. My damage output tends to get the job done when combined with that set up.

Now that we know all the rotating bounties, we can devise an efficient means for completing them. You can store up to 3 bounties on a character, and many of the bounties are in the same zone, meaning lining up multiple bounties in one spot and doing them at once will usually save you significant time grinding through the trash mobs on the way.

The below table lists the starting zones for the quests

In addition, Cerris & Greves are fairly close to outpost and worth doing alone.

Riverside Assassination can be accessed like the other new explorables, but the quest and reward happens just once. It's just yet another explorable filled with White Mantle and I wouldn't expect them to have better droprates for any new stuff than WiK White Mantle everywhere else. And if you want to farm White Mantle for their drops why not do Courier at the same time?

well most of the time it takes 3-4 runs to get a green..
3-4 Confessor's Orders a run..
a few golds..
