Not sure why people are paying sins to speedbook for them when anyone can do it. With the ominous SF nerf looming.. maybe its time to look at alternatives anyway.

COTN: bring a full group with skills to kill 1 group and the bear. Bring sac skills on your bar. Move heroes off and sac (don't move from original spawnpoint). Run to 3 bear spawns in heroview and have them kill the thing. easy. 5 mins.

ATC: Run to helmet (its not that tough). Flag heroes off as the first charr group is incoming. Let them kill you. In heroview, go kill boss. easier. 2-4 mins.

ATFH: Get creative. Using 3 monk heroes as the sin does.. ? I did it easily on several toons. even a paragon can do it.

GOLEM can also be done this way in 7-8 minutes which may have appeal for some.

Remember HFFF? Same idea for cotn and atc.
Bring party speedbuffs on your hero bars for faster results.

um really in HM? i must be missing something. usual takes 15 or 20 mins.

Easier and Faster: Go to Doomlore Shrine, District 1, Press P and type this "Looking for speedbook 3k=book"... Get a PM in minutes and join there group. Keep calm on ATC and resign after mission. Help kill the nornbear on COTN. Allow the sin to kill the destroyer in seconds.

Also I can do a book in 6 minutes. I don't think a non-sin can achieve this.

There are several threads on assassin speedbooking. Go post you 6 minute achievement there. This thread is for doing it on any toon (and keeping their cash).

I think there's a variation of the sin build but with a warrior. Not sure what he used. but ATFH was done pretty fast.

The reason ppl pay sins for speedbooking is the speed.
On a sin atc,cotn and atfh can be done in under 15 mins total and those with cash will do what most normal ppl will do - go for speed.
Would you take a 15 min train to see a friend or take a 45 min train ? - most will say 15 min train.

Considering that sf and 600/smite users are going to be hit by the almighty nerfbat soon ( and others going by anets hints ) a lot of builds for running will become void .

OP - wouldnt it be better ( and more traditional ) to post builds and give a more detailed explanation on how to do things ( Would be nice for newer players ) otherwise this thread will become another flaming troll post and get closed.

Lets leave GOLEM well and truly out of this. We know it's the fourth fastest, but we don't need to do it because we already have the three fastest. As for your other suggestions, that's dependant on SF being unusable, which they've said they aren't going to do.

People will still look for sins to do this after the nerf because:

*20 seconds is as fast as you can kill the Great Destroyer, and that bar doesn't use SF
*CotNB is mostly running, and what are assassins good at? Again, SF isn't actually needed, it's just to make things a bit easier on the sin
*ATC is essentially running, and any tank build could take him [the boss] down. Even SF in it's previous incarnations.

Yes, perhaps paupers can run this on their own chars instead of hiring sins, but sins will still have the majority of the market share, methinks. We'll just have to wait until the nerf comes.

Currently im doing this on my monk, either i don't solo Great Destroyer, which could be easy soloed by the monk. It's easier with 3 bonders and a damage monk

SPEEDBOOKING ON ANY CHARACTER!!!!!!

No one knows for sure what will or will not happen to SF when we finally get a skill update.

So what is wrong in coming up with alternatives for worst case scenario?

People need to stop being so attached to having others run everything for them.

And nice job TC, im gonna try this out on a couple of my other chars.

Like i said - if possible post some builds so we can see/try them , one thing the community hates is when someone says x can be done with monks etc but doesnt show any builds - so plz plz plz post the builds

what build u need when u supposed to die in that method?
OP said "bring sac skills" i think thats enough info for normal human brain to computerize.

well you got me. might just be my heroes/setup. but i would like to see some sort of write of it.

In response to some people thinking this is a 45 minute train, lets do a little math:

People have a tendency to exaggerate completion times when it comes to this stuff. These are the times that are achievable by mr joe average.

Against the charr is done easily in 2-4 minutes.
Curse of the nornbear is done easily in 4-7 minutes.
A time for heroes is dependant on the toon used.. any character can run SV/AV as secondary mesmer. any character can use YMLAD. Toss in some degen or other damage from your characters profession. A monk can do it solo in a couple minutes. So can any other character using the 3 bonder monks.

When you put it all together thats 8-13 minutes per book doing it on your own. This is fast.

As for posting builds.. really?

load on your favorite speedy build for atc (this is just for the trip to the helmet)
load bip or br for cotn and use it on the norn standing beside you after you flag off your heroes. It's that easy. Don't over complicate things.

I'll try and clarify a few things here..
Half your team is henchman. Take the ones that help balance out your heroes. Since you are attacking single target / small groups, take the necessary skills on your heroes to do so. It really isn't a fair fight for the bad guys.

In ATC, your team will see no baddies except for the end bosses. Its flagging and hitting fall back on a hero when it forgets. When you reach the bosses, spread your heroes out. aggro and win.

In COTN, there may be a single group of mandragor at the entrance to the cave. It spawns about half the time. Your heroes and henchman should be able to kill them off. After that, the only enemy you will see is the nornbear. Tag the first 2 spots, spread out your flags for the 3rd. aggro and win.

Nothing about this is complicated. It is fast. Anyone can do it.

nornbear..just pop him and fallback/un-flag U team..no need to fight.(U still need to fight the last one)

I spent a few minutes and got the armor to 105hp ATFH on my warrior.
Tossed together a few builds (the ATFH one is strikingly similar to the sin one)
This was just a quick throw together, and I am certain some skills could be replaced with better ones.. the purpose here is simply to show completion times.
I chose to fight the mandragor group in cotnb to have this reflect a standard set of runs.

ya thanks for the runs last night Doc Roboto. to save 1 min (ya i know) in CoTN just flag 1 hero to the second spawn part read to pop the norm up once the first group is done.

i'll pos some SS later when i get home. Did 10 books last night. probably craft some armor also. have 50 some more books to run.

Well as your normal brain cant computerize - i was asking for the hero builds to be shown as mentioned in a previous reply - sheesh.
