I know I was all for this build in the beginning, but I've seen the light now. This build should be nerfed because it turns HM into a playground for scrubs.

The main survival skill has already been nerfed for the worst part. For the rest of the skills used, there is absolutely no reason to nerf them at all... they been around since first 2 campaigns, and already made it through all the changes since then. So, it will never be nerfed if you ask me... Same goes for any Invinci builds. And the build ain't as easy for some people... it does require some skill and experience with farming, and a bit of time to learn and get a hang of.
And whats wrong with having a build that can make you some money? and giving you plenty of areas and things to farm... other builds are so limited to where they can go, they end up getting boring with not much profit. The farming part of the game got nerfed so much in past year, why would they make any changes to skills that made it this far? These days you can't go out and make the gold you use to make... you have to work a bit harder. So whats wrong with having a build that can make the game easier and more enjoyable? It is just a game right? and it is supposed to be fun... I think Anet has taken enough fun away from the game already, why take it all? If you don't like making money, don't use it

I love to farm, it's one of the ways I like to play the game. I am leveling a Ritualist just so I can try out this build, I have done the 55 think for a long time and this build looks like a lot of fun. If I manage to make some extra gold, then all the better.
As stated above, farming is not what it used to be, it takes a bit more work these days but it's still fun. If the fun farming builds get nerfed I would probably end up playing a different game. In the end I think (and hope) that Arena Net sees farming as one of the ways people like to play and will leave it in, if they wanted to kill it they have had more than enough time.

It was sarcasm Rezz no worries, I love the build. Just a reference to the multitude of idiots on Guru who scream "nerf" to everything that works well in PvE. I am 100% in agreement with you, the more Anet listens to the people the more fun is being taking out of the game.

You could add avalance to the list of farmable things in ice cliff chasm. It's doable with replacing reversal of damage with SoA. SoA helps to offset the general pressure (and is great if you manage to cast it right before maelstrom.
You'll survive maelstrom by casting spirit bond -exactly- when maelstrom hits you. It's a actually a rather big window and predictable, because maelstrom hits you exactly 10 times in 1 second intervals.

I know But I had to make a point for other people that might question it... but I do know there are jerks out there that do want stuff nerfed all the damn time. Especially people that don't even like farming, but still want it nerfed for some reason. doesn't make sense.

Yea, deleted my 55 armor a long time ago after this. It's a lot faster and more fun imo. It is now the only thing I farm with really, besides a/e shadow form

I've been dying to try this, but haven't gotten around to it. I've made a rit, but don't feel like advancing in the campaign with her to farm, but hopefully I'll get to it eventually. If you are the one that created this build, damn mate... damn. Amazing.

Well you could always just farm the newb islands in Factions and Nightfall if you don't want to take ur Rit through the game... They both have a good number of farming areas, aslong as you got HM unlocked. It would be best to take your Rit through some of factions to get to the Luxon Sins, and maybe just take him around the Nightfall island... or maybe far as Vabbi. You would then cover a good deal of the farming areas. As for Gwen you would only need to go alittle way to cover the few areas to farm... but if you want to farm the Battledepths you would need to complete game, or take someone with you that has completed game.
And yes I am the original creator of the build... but I hope you like it.

Ring of Fire mission? get any Mursaat Longbows yet? I need to do a mission in shiverpeaks to get to Emberlight camp... so it's kind of far enough to not bother with it,but have been wondering how it works, and how the drops are.

Cannot complain about the drops - 3 Mursaat Hornbows req 9, 10, and 10 - one 15^50 another 15/-10
and two Mursaat Hammers req 9 and 12. Gold Mursaat Garments drop all the time as well as a sprinkling of other gold items.
Run takes about 3-4 minutes.
Patience is the key for the Mursaat Hornbows/Hammers - it takes time but eventually one will drop!

Not solo, cause they have enchant stripping... I wish you it was possible. Maybe if you have a SB Monk with you u could.... should be possible to dual it with someone, not sure how far you would beable to go though. I tried farming Glints with a Rt/Me Echo VWK build but its quite hard and frustrating, and not so effecient...

I didn't feel like reading through 20 pages of stuff, so I'm probably gonna ask a question someone already asked. If it is, sorry. If not, then I guess we'll all get something out of it!
But yeah, where are the best drop areas. I saw your list of areas this build works, but I'm guessing some of those are for exp. I've been farming Luxon Sins in Boreas, but I'm getting sorta bored with that and would like to find somewhere else to farm with decent drops.

Well that depends on what chapters you got. But Factions and NF newb islands are great for farming...
