I don't think this guide will get stickied because it's too spesific to Necros. Things like Cerb's guide have lots of general information (skills, patrols, maps) that can be used by anyone, not just the 55/SS combo they used.

Oh yeah, I remember that...Lots of rebirthing, rebonding, and swearing over Vent...Was totally worth it though...I would have gotten as many golds, but I didn't bring any lockpicks <.<
Here's another SS, with the Bonder build if you want it (Also, english...French is for the French, Noodle)
Other than the knockdowns (which are easy enough to beat) and Fendi (Who should be easier with SV) the dungeon was pretty easy.

gues this is possible with hero necro(you playing monk), but not with hero monk...unless ofc you use the 600necro/smite knowing how and when to use SB on yourself. I think i'm going to try and do this with a hero monk and playing nec myself. Anyway its a kewl idea tbh :P

Hello, great guide! I love it.
One question: in the previous version you described how to 55 the UW in HM. I read that part many times but could never work out a way to kill smites efficiently, because Smite Hex recharges too quickly and there are the scatters.
I didn't see the UW HM solo part in this new guide; do you have any suggestions?
BTW, in NM I use Vig Spirit instead of SB, for a quick cheap cast against Dying Nightmares. I find it relieves some energy pressure on Aatxes and helps me immensely with Darknesses. It's slower than SB for Smites but I feel it's safer.

the drops there are pretty terrible in my opinion, and the run is pretty short and repetitive. standard SS or SV build, kill bugs, kill a few elementals, resign, repeat. it's certainly farmable, but not something i'd run much.

i've always hated that part of HM UW. the reason i ditched HM UW in this guide is because it's pretty hard, and Normal Mode is better for profit. if you're in it for the challenge (the main reason for HM ) you can kill smites by grouping them like Raptors - with a wall on their left side. they scatter a whole lot less this way. also, it helps to bring another cover hex, such as Reckless Haste, instead of Mending - with Spirit Bond, Mending isn't absolutely necessary, and Reckless is nice to have with the insane recharge of Smite Hex in HM.

You should add the quest "A new Escort" to the list, you can farm a mob of 12 Dragon moss outside Saint anjeka Shrine, which drop all sorts of Gothic items/ echovald shields etc...
A run takes ~2-3 minutes using the 55hp necro build ( SoA, Shielding hands, PS, SS, IP, Essence bond, Balth aura, Mending can be used, but not really necassary )
Mob up the dragons by walking back towards the merchant, once they are nicely mobbed up, start casting SS and IP when possible, and on different targets. Chain Shield of absorbtion and Shielding hands in order to avoid any damage, remember to always cast Shielding hands AFTER protective spirit, if you cast PS after SH, you get the annoying bug that you get dmg anyway, and so you die
Drops ive gotten so far:
Lots of dyes...
Black dyes: ~5 of them
Gothic Axe 15^50 / +5 e
Dual Gothic Axe 15^50 / +5e
Gothic Sword 15^50 / +5e
Echovald Shield ( only with crap stats, but still gold though )
Gothic Shield ( still none with good mods )
When you killed the dragon moss, you can drop maintaining mending and continue to kill The Chkkr boss for an elite ranger tome, but I Usually just leave him as he never seems to drop his elite tome and always his stupid green/gold scroll of some sort.
- Oh yeah, you get tons of xp 12 x 300xp = 3600 xp every 3 minutes ( got ~+1-2 mil xp from this run on my necro )
- and dragon roots are one of the collectable items, that were required the last Chinese newyear... Had a stack of those dragon roots back then, got me a stack of those surprise bags
Enjoy
ps: This quest was already mentioned like half a year ago here in the farming forum, was surprised that it wasnt mentioned in your guide yet
ps²: To solo byzzr wingmender I use Ignorance to prevent him/her? ( ) from using Sig of rejuvenation.

Me and Noodle have both done this farm before. The drops usually suck for the both of us, and killing the boss isn't worth it. There are easier bosses to farm for eliteranger tomes, and other boss drops. And you'd probably be better off doing a Halycon Job run (and getting much better drops, usually (run takes ~1.5x the time, +2x the enemies)) with the sin boss at the end. But if you just want ele tomes, or some chances (very very very very very very small chances, but chances) at some good Kurzick items, then the farm works.
Imo, the only time that farm was good was when the Black Moa Chick was discovered and the trader was selling Spirit Wood planks for ~2k.

Yeah, I started farming them as an easy way to get normal ele tomes, but then got some nice gothic items, and continued farming them.
Dragon moss have better gold drops ( the skins they drop are more expensive then the ones dropped in the Halicon Job ). They seem to drop tons of dyes aswell for me and after an hour of farming these, I usually have ~50-60 spiritwood planks which I sell at Merchant price ~70g each, but like you said, there are other farms that yield more, but get a nice drop from these babies and you instantaniously make up for that difference

Like I said. A good kurzick item is great. But are you going to advocate farming Ravengers for ectos? They drop them, and if you get one you get a nice profit. But the chances of them dropping are very small, and you'd be better off (imo) farming something that gives you consistant money, rather than the small chance at something worth a lot.
EDIT; To continue with my earlier HalcyonJob vs this argument, I'd rather average 2 golds per run farming the sins (most being worth crap, but lots of them merch well and/or have max mods (And many (most?) of the golds are armors, and sup runes are often nice)) than 1 gold every 2-4 runs (What I was getting when I farmed them) which would merch for just as much, and have just as little a chance for being max. If you get one that's max, low rec and a good skin, Grats! Lots of money! But I'll stick with my consistant income.
The run works, but there are plenty of things you'd be better off spending your time on.

Actually that farm is very good spot to get many rare kurzick items. I've gotten much much much better drops there then the luxon sins.
The dragon moss run takes about 1 min
Use Awaken the blood Then SS and use Defile enchantments to finish off any that survive.
IF you ball them good all it takes is Awaken > SS > wait for SS recharge > SS(another dragon moss) > defile
all of them should be dead by that time.
Older Screenies:
This was about after 15 or so runs. So like 25 mins
That dual gothic was req 9 15^50 XD
Another pic from after an hour of farming. All of the items were gold :P Stuff after the amber aegis wasnt drops lol. Cept for the cupcakes.

So you get ~2 golds for the halicon job, but that run takes an average of 5 minutes, maybe a bit more...
The dragon moss run takes ~1 minute and yields a gold every ~20-30 foes so every ~2.5 runs, so you also get 2 golds every 5 minutes, so actually in number of gold items, the 2 quests yield about the same amount.

actually...i can nail the halycon job in 3 min 3 sec (yes including the boss) but the drops there seem to get worse so this afternoon i went and did the escort quest...15 min later i had 7 rares (of wich 1 was a q9 str amber aegis [email protected] unid and yes i [email protected] mods), 15 spiritwood planks, 4 ele tomes. Also had some [email protected] total. So i think this is going to be my new farm. Only probs are lag :P

Ok...I just did both farms for half an hour. Results;
Dragonmosses; 9 whites, 5 blues, 3 purples, 15 spirit wood planks, 6 dragon roots, 1 dye (purple), and 1 gold (r13 Dragon Kamas). After merchings, I came to 3.3k
Halcyon Job; 13 whites, 1 blue, 4 purples, 6 Luxon Pendants, 2 dyes (orange, blue), 14 cloth, and 6 golds (All Luxon Garbs). After merchings, I came to 3.4k, not including all the runes (including a major vigor).
So, both runs gave similar end profits (not including runes) but one gave many more golds. Like I said, this might just be my (And noodle's...He tried these runs again after the screen shots were posted, and still didn't get anything, even on triple lockpick weekend) crappy luck, but I'll stick to farming the Assassins.

hmm i still think titan farm @ DNKP owns, i stick to SS build but i cant seem to kill rotting titans. Thats why i bring 1 hero and flag him off so he doestnt steal drops. Anyway last run (30 min yesyes could be 20-25) made 10 rares, 12 purps+some whites+blues. Made a total of 9k more or less (had f*cking crappy runes)

Um, this probably sounds pretty stupid, but where can I find some of the mentioned builds? I've checked PvXWiki to see if any of the combinations pop up, but they don't seem to.
Any advice?
