Paragon hero cancelling enduring harmony??
This is a weird behavior, not a big deal tho. i wonder if anyone see that too.
it happens randomly(at least I think it is).
Im farming raptors with WN build + P/Rt hero. some times after I order my hero to cast enduring harmony on me, I hear couple cancelling clicks and his energy is used up.
Any thoughts?

Evidently the hero is having an issue with conflicting orders from you and what the AI is telling it. Have you tried disabling all the skills (I don't think there needs to be many) and force casting them? Posting the build you're using would be helpful also.

Just happened again. This time I clicked on the hero and see. The cast is cancelled at the very last sec. He casts (or started casting) it a few times so Im definitely in his aggro. The bar is below:
fallback, incoming, make haste, ctt, enduring harmony, vocal was sogolon
All except fallback is disabled. When I zone, I click sogolon. At the same time I move, so he use fallback automatically. Then I click enduring while running to shrine.

Are you remaining within the aggro bubble for the entire casting time of EH? Maybe because it's a echo it will fail if the target leaves the valid range. This isn't consistent with other skill use though. Just throwing out some ideas, maybe we'll find the problem.
EDIT: Maybe there is something that is blocking the use of EH on you altogether. I can't think of anything that would, but it's a possibility.

Just tested the EH while leaving its bubble, he successfully cast EH.
Even when that happen, he can recast EH a few times(, although that fails too), to start a cast, I must be in his range.
That does sounds like those mobs targeting the pre-nerf SB.

I disable AI control on the whole skill bar. Also you can only "queue" 2 skills at a time, since Enduring Harmony has a cast time (it's not a shout), if you click 2 more skills after it, you will be canceling your own order. I usually wait until I see the icon appear on my status bar before I click through the chain of shouts.

I run to the shrine while he cast EH, and queue nothing else. It fails even before I reach the NPC.
I hope I can tape a video, but it is such a random problem, not happening on every run.

You dont queue shouts, theyre used instantly so you can use as many as you want while casting sologon

Set your hero to guard instead of don't attack and it won't happen.

Yeah, you're right (although casting the shouts prior to enduring harmony kind of defeats its purpose). Here's the way I do it:
- Use the Incoming and Fall Back to run you and your hero to the shrine and to the mouth of the cave and stop. Select yourself before you get there so your hero has you targeted.
- Cast Sologon (wait until you see the icon appear on the heroes status bar)
- Cast Enduring Harmony (again, wait until you see the icon appear on your status bar)
- Cast the 3 shouts in quick succession (Make Haste, Stand You Ground, and Can't Touch This)
- Flag your hero into the Angorodons to die
You may be adding a couple seconds to the run but you won't have any problem with your hero falling behind you out of range which can happen if you are making them cast Sologon and Enduring Harmony while you are running away from them. I also like to bring the hero to the entrance with me for a couple reasons. One, if I get a crappy Angorodon spawn, I can usually flag the hero to draw them away while I run into the cave. Two, I like to have Enduring Harmony last as long as possible so I can get it to act on "I Am Unstoppable!" which I use as part of my skill bar for my necro/warrior raptor farmer.

I've ordered my skills, vocal was sogolon, fall back, enduring harmony.
If you disable all the skills, as soon as you zone get them to cast vocal, then after they're hollding the ashes, fall back and enduring harmony, THEN start moving.
That way I've never had any problems with skill cancelling, and also fall back lasts just up to the lip of the cave, at which point you can ping make haste and then cant touch this

OK, i was taping every single runs and eventually this bug shows up
this happened with avoid combat mode, im not sure if it would in guard or attack mode
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4_Uds_Q32PA
turn on the sound, so u can hear the cancelling
so the hero did not finish casting because target is out of range, however it will catch up, try another one, cancel again and repeat. There was 2 cancelled cast even when I stopped moving. imo, the hero should finish the started casting, no matter where the target is. And I think this is an AI problem.

It looks like to me that you keep running out of his range as he's trying to cast it on you. He has to stop running to cast.

Set hero to guard mode, if he is on "do not attack" then he will prioritise running away over casting.

target yourself, not the hero, you want enduring harmony on you, not on him.
also I cast it at the opening of the cave, but that's me.
